Sophia Loren first met husband Carlo Ponti in 1950 when she was 15 and he was 37. They were first married in 1957 though Ponti was still legally married to his first wife Guiliana under his native Italian law. In 1965; after having his first marriage annulled for bigamy, Loren and Ponti legally married and remained married until his death in 2007. They have two children together. Loren has stated that she will never be with anyone else romantically.
