Anna Karina in Godard's Colours
Lovely Danish actress Anna Karina in 3 colour films for her then husband, director Jean-Luc Godard in their 60s heyday: Une Femme est une Femme (his first in colour), the 1965 masterpiece Pierrot le Fou (in the South of France), and Made in U.S.A (1966). For me his work was never as good again without her. I like his hedonistic sunny colourful side in Pierrot and also Contempt (1963, in Capri, with Brigitte Bardot)
I'm trying to find good images from Karina's delightful Ma Ligne de Chance sequence in Pierrot, in which she sings and dances through the woods by the sea shore. It's worth catching on youtube
