Ned Stark



The main character of season 1. Ned was loved for his kindness and loyalty to Robert. He raised his children in a good way and he learnt them everything they needed to know. But his dead give a nice impulse to the storyline.

Catelyn Stark



You can have bad luck, or just a terrible live. Catelyn definitely has a terrible live. Losing your husband, a cripple son, your daughters being captive en your eldest son in a dangerous war. You can only feel sorry for her. Despite that I have to say that I don’t like her. Looking at her just make me feel miserable and that’s just stupid. She may have a hard time, but her actions are extremely dumb. Why the hell would you release your captive if you’re not sure that you would get your daughters back. No, Catelyn is not my favourite character. Saying that, she absolutely didn't deserve the faith she got in her last episode. Wow. Brutally killed after she saw her eldest son die. I feel sorry for her.

Robb Stark



With is father dead, Robb is the new King of the North. A role he fits, in my opinion. He is a good leader and a skilled fighter. But I think he doesn’t have the appearance to be a king. He was doing a great job, by winning every battle. But marrying Talisa instead of a Frey girl was the most stupid thing he could do. He definetely lost the war because of that. And what's the next thing you have to do? Well, not killing your bannerman is one thing. that was pretty stupid as well. Finally he goes to Frey to make some apologies, but it's to late and he got brutally killed, after his wife is stabbed to death. It was a shocker to see the head of Grey Wind on his body.

Arya Stark



Despite her young age Arya is very brave and smart. Away from her family she travels through the Seven Kingdoms like it’s nothing. Looking at your father while his head is been chopped of can’t be nice, so you might think she would be miserable and sad. But no way Arya would be like that, she’s just being awesome. Hell yeah. Her trip with The Hound was pretty cool as well. Sorry for her she saw another familiy member without his head.

Sansa Stark



In the beginning I did not like Sansa. She was whining and annoying. But after a while I started to feel sorry for her. Living with such a douche as Joffrey is hard, especially when nobody is helping you. Later she got some help to live with her prince. But argh, she is so naive. Did she really think she could marry Loras? She should have join Petyr, but she didn't. Know she has married a Lanniter. Great job. But at least this Stark is still alive. I really believe she can survive everyone, like Littlefinger said. We’ll see.

Jon Snow



It’s difficult to be a bastard, especially on the wall. Jon may be the son of Ned Stark, on the wall he is just a brother of the Night Watch. He is a good soldier, but when I see his face I grow tired already. His storyline in season 3 was way betetr though, but I don't think that's because of him, but because there are some cool people with him. I'm happy to see him back at Castle Black though.

Robert Baratheon



The King of Westeros and Ned’s best friend. Robert was a nice character to watch, beaucse you never knew how his mood would be. Sometimes he would drink and laugh and the next time he would be full of anger. His death is a bit lame in my opinion, a King who dies because of a big fat pig. He deserved better than that.

Tyrion Lannister



Where Joffrey might be the most hated character, Tyrion is probably the most loved character. And I have to say, I think he is my favourite to. Straightforward as he is, He always ends up in hilarious situations. He has a great sense of humor and his scenes with Bronn are just awesome. He seems a bit more serious after Blackwater, but he is still awesome. His conversaitons with Tywin were absolutely epic.

Jaime Lannister



We haven’t seen Jaime a lot last season. But the moments when Jaime appeared where always nice to watch. Jaime showed he has a good sense of humour and says what he thinks. He also killed his cousin to escape from the Northmen, but his plan failed. He was way better in season three. He really showed some meotions in the bath scene and he saved Brienne. Big plus. I feel sorry for his hand

Cersei Lannister



In all the chaos in Kingslanding you have to be very cautious and intelligent, if you want to survive. And let’s be honest, Cersei knows how to survive. She is one of the main characters and her scenes are always interesting. She looks like a real queen and everyone is listening to her (except her brother) and that makes her a cool and dangerous character.

Joffrey Baratheon



Probably the most hated character of all. I hate him to, but in a positive way. He acts like the devil in an human body and I think Jack Gleeson does a great job here. Joffrey is a good badguy. I showed some emotions when he was with Margaery, but at the end he was a cruel monster again.

Daenerys Targaryen



Have you ever seen a cute blond girl, with an iron will and some badass dragons who wants to me the queen? Well, welcome to Game of Thrones. Daenerys is a very popular character and I understand that completely. She’s cute, good looking and an interesting character. She’s bin through a lot of shitty things but she still survives and she got rewarded for that in season three. With a new army and a lot of victories, I think she is ready to go to Westeros.

Khal Drogo



Another awesome character that didn’t survive season 1. I thought Drogo would be a terrible raper who slaughtered everyone he didn’t like. But that’s not the whole story. From the inside he seemed to me a kind person who loved Daenerys with his whole heart. He would protect her and they would conquer the world together. But that stupid witch Mirri Maz Duur killed him. Such a shame.

Viserys Targaryen


Beating your little sister is not okay, no matter why. How sweet and cute Daenerys is, so cruel and stupid is Viserys. He is so extremely selfish that he doesn’t even care about is sister being raped. I was glad when Drogo gave him his ‘golden crown’, brilliantly done. Harry Lloyd did a good job to make Viserys an unbearable douchebag.

Theon Greyjoy



Theon is one of the most interesting characters in the show. His development is very special; he had to make a horrible choice. Staying loyal to your friend or choose to fight for your father is hard. I think he made the wrong choice, because his father seemed to be a real jerk. I hated Theon when he took Winterfell, but after all he just tried to make his father happy. I’m very curious to see what’s happening to Theon next.

Bran Stark



It’s hard to protect yourself if you can’t walk. Such a shame Bran wanted to be a knight when he would be older. Luckily for him he can crawl on Hodor’s back so he would not be found by some wildlings like before. His band with his Direwolf Summer is interesting, especially since he is be able to 'warg' into his wolf. I think Bran is gonna live through the end I'm very curious about what he is gonna do beyond the wal..

Jorah Mormont



Dany’s loyal friend Jorah is always nearby to help his Khaleesi. It’s kinda obvious that he likes her, so he would do everything to protect her. He almost betrayed her once, but I’m sure he will stay loyal to her now. Jorah is an interesting person and I’d like to see what’s he gonna do now with Barirstan en Daario in his company, because he seemed really jealous.

Tywin Lannister



Holy shit, this is what you call bad-ass. I don’t think there is anyone in the show who can be so cruel and bloody calm. He doesn’t show any emotion, no matter how hard the conditions are. The moment when he arrives at the throne room (after his horse takes a dump) shows how powerful he is. Everyone haves respect for him because he is a real leader and nobody dares to interrupt him. His conversations with Tyrion and Joffrey were top notch. Amazing stuff. Charles Dance is fan-tas-tic.

Renly Baratheon



He may not have been the best king, but he made up for his kindness and intention to do the right things. Maybe he didn’t have the courage, but he was a good man. I was really sorry when he died, but in the end Stannis seemed way more interesting so I can live with his faith now.

Barristan Selmy



Barristan was the commander of the Kingsguard. Despite his age he was still one of the best knights in the Seven Kingdoms. He was also a very likeable person with a calm and kind nature. I was really surprised to see him with Dany. That was a very interesting twist. I hope he'll get more stuff to do next season because he he is such a skilled warrior.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish



The Small Council is full of interesting characters. Pycelle, Varys, Littlefinger, they all have their own intentions. Littlefinger is the Master of Coins, an important task. He is unpredictable and you never know what he’s going to do. He betrayed Ned Stark (I hated him for that) but he also protects Sansa. In my opinion he is one of the most fascinating characters and I love his rivalry with Varys.

Varys



Just like Littlefinger, Varys is a member of The Small Council. Using his little birds he knows everything in the Seven Kingdoms. If you’re taking a shit, he knows it before you’re done. Because he knows everything most people don’t trust him. But his calmness and occasional kindness are good to see in the chaos of King’s Landing. I really like Varys and he was pretty cool in season three. His scene with Tyrion when he opened the box was shocking, intense and exciting. I would love to see more of that.

Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane



An interesting character to watch, The Hound is one of the mightiest warriors in the Seven Kingdoms. He hates almost everyone and he likes to kill. Now that he left King’s Landing he joined sides with Arya. That's what you call an epic pair.

Bronn



Bronn is Tyrion’s loyal partner in crime and they are a great couple. Their scenes together are always very funny and nice to watch. He seems to enjoy killing as well, what makes him a funny and interesting character. Bronn's part in the third season was a bit smaller, but he was fun as always.

Maester Luwin



It's not until his death that we realise just how valuable Maester Luwin was for the Starks. Luwin was wise, fiercely loyal, and very loving towards the Stark children. He was essential for the daily routine at Winterfell. Now that he’s death the Stark boys will need each other more than ever. I will miss Maester Luwin a lot.

Rickon Stark



Rickon is the youngest Stark child. We don’t see him a lot so it’s hard to tell you what I think about him. He is very fond of Bran, it seems to me. It was hard to watch the scene when he and Bran left each other. Heart breaking stuff.

Samwell Tarly



When he came to the Wall, Samwell was a coward. It's nice to see some kindness ath the Watch, but he has to man up. Killing that walker was pretty epic. I hope he will do more of that. I'm curious if he is gonna tell Jon about Bran.

Stupid baby child. I don’t have anything to say about him. I just hope he’ll fall out of that strange dungeons and dies.

Loras Tyrell



With Renly dead, Loras decided to help the Lannisters in their battle against Stannis. We don’t know a lot of the Knight of Flowers, but we know he had a very close relationship with Renly. I don’t like Loras a lot, because in my opinion a knight has to be cool and I think Loras is a bit womanish.

Margaery Tyrell



As Renly’s widow, Margaery needed a new husband. And well, she has found one and not the least of it. After the battle for Blackwater Bay her brother arranged a marriage with King Joffrey. I believe this can me a very interesting thing. She is really a smart player in King's Landing, we can see that. I'm wondering about her real intentions against Sansa and Joffrey.

Gendry



I’m gonna make the ratings shorter now, since the main characters are been rated. Genrdy is a loyal friend of Arya and Robert Baratheon’s bastard, something he don’t know. I felt bad for him when Melisandre took him, but Davos rescued him. I wonder what's he gonna do now that he knows about his father.

Lysa Arryn



Crazy paranoid woman. She’s such a cold person, how the hell can those people in her castle live with her. She’ll fit in a madhouse or something. It's actually kinda rude to say, but in book three this woman was being a real cunt.

Brother of Ned Stark and an important ranger of the Night’s Watch. He disappears at an routine mission. That’s why we don’t know a lot of him so he remains a bit mysterious. I’m very curious if we’re gonna see him ever again.

Jory Cassel



Another Stark loyalist who died when protecting his House. When the Lannisters attacked Ned, he fought until Jaime put a sword through his head. It’s obvious for me that he was very brave and loving to the Stark girls. Unfortunately he died very early in the series.

A greedy old man. That’s what he is. Spying for Cersei and banging some prostitutes. No I don’t like him. Tyrion should have killed him instead of cutting is beard off.

Osha has become Bran’s closest friend and counsellor. She also seemed to be very skilled with a knife. I’m curious about how see is going to protect Bran, now that Winterfell is gone.

Shae



Tyrion seems to very close with her. I myself don’t like her very much. She has a good heart but she’s always asking Tyrion’s attention. Shut up and do Sansa’s hair or something.

Yoren



The recruiter of the Night’s Watch. He takes Arya to the Wall to protect her. First he seems a bit rude to me, but later he shows us that he has a good heart. He dies like a real hero when he protects the group from the Lannister soldiers.

Ros



A prostitute who seems to have a good band with Theon and the Stark boys. Her part in season 3 was bigger, because she was a spy for Varys. Littlefinger found out and Joffrey killed her brutally. I didn't like her but this was very rude.

Jeor Mormont



As Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, he had a very important duty. I think he made a mistake to go beyond the wall. He lost the most of his man and that was not necessary. But he was very honourable, I admire him for that. Such a shame he got killed by that stupid ranger Rast.

Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane



Just like his brother, Gregor Clegane seems to enjoy killing. But in my opinion Gregor is even more cruel than The Hound, who protected Sansa from Joffrey’s beatings. But The Mountain has a reputation as a cruel monster who kills en rapes his enemies. No I don’t like him very much, but it is an interesting character.

Ser Rodrik Cassel



Just like Maester Luwin he seemed to be very loyal to the Starks. He was always near Winterfell or with Catelyn. That ended when Theon chopped his head off. May he rest in peace among with Maester Luwin.

Syrio Forel



This proud Braavosi was Arya’s teacher. He learned here all the fighting technics and he was very fun to watch. His fate is unknown after his fight with Meryn Trant. I don’t know if we’re gonna see him again, but he was a cool character.

Mirri Maz Duur



Mirri Maz Duur was a witch who was saved by Daenerys. I understand that she hates the Dothraki warriors, but why the hell would you kill Daenerys’ unborn child? She also puts Drogo in a vegetable state. I hope she enjoyed the fire, beacause she deserved it.

Myrcella Baratheon



Myrcella isn't very important in the series so far. But she is in Dorne now and I think that will be very interesting in the future. A neutral score for now.

Tommen Baratheon



Absolutely the opposite of his brother Joffrey. Tommen is friendly, shy and courteous. His role so far isn't very big, but it will be more important later.

Ser Ilyn Payne



For some reason this guy is freaking me out. He can only speak with is sword since he doesn’t have a tongue anymore. You never see him coming but suddenly he is there when Cersei or Joffrey calls him.

Ser Meryn Trant



Beating girls when your King commands it is not done. He beated Sansa a few times too. I would gladly chop is head off if I had the chance to do it.

Lancel Lannister



Lancel Lannister a cousin of Cersei and still he sleeps with her. He seems to be a warrior .. Gets shot with an arrow at the battle of Blackwater Bay, but unfortunately he doesn't die.
