A softer example, perhaps due to her hair being a touch thinner than necessary to achieve the complete look. But the inspiration is arguably there.

Some samples of an iconic hairstyle as worn well from the past and today. Today it is a prime example of what is considered rockabilly and general 50's fashion, which many celebrities take as inspiration for their own ventures.
