186FleetStreet's rating:

Daryl Sabara as Ned Nickerson, Nancy's boyfriend.
In the game series, he's a phone-a-friend character, but maybe the phone calls with him could be done as a split screen thing like they used to do on "Lizzie McGuire."
186FleetStreet's rating:

Chloe Moretz as George Fayne, one of Nancy's best friends. This time, she's staying over with Bess.
Ditto the split screen conversations.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Bridgit Mendler as Bess Marvin, one of Nancy's best friends, and George's cousin.
Ditto the split screen conversations.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Brenda Song as Maya Nguyen, one of Nancy's high school friends. She's a reporter for the school newspaper at Washington University in Saint Louis.

She invited Nancy to go with her on an interview with actor Brady Armstrong at his movie premiere at the Royal Palladium Theater, but ended up getting kidnapped and held for ransom against the theater's pending demolition.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Richard Belzer as Joseph Hughes, the caretaker and projection room operator of the Royal Palladium.

After the demolition of the theater, he was planning on living with his brother in Arizona. He was extra-helpful to Nancy in finding Maya. In reality, he was the one who kidnapped Maya, because his brother was dead, and he had nowhere to go. It was the only way he saw the demolition could be stopped, though technically he originally wanted to kidnap Brady for the ransom because of the impact it would've made.
186FleetStreet's rating:

It's probably a little bit of typecasting, but Anthony Perkins was my first choice for Joseph Hughes, had he not passed away...

186FleetStreet's rating:

Jonathan Groff as Brady Armstrong, the star of "Vanishing Destiny," the last movie to be screened at the Royal Palladium.

He usually follows the advice of his agent, Simone Mueller, but lately, he'd been trying to break away from her. It turns out, his real name is Brady Thompson. He's a descendant of J.J. Thompson, the man who built the Royal Palladium and is the current owner (technically half-owner) of the theater. He's the one who wants to tear it down for a Planet Hollywood-type restaurant.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Whoopi Goldberg as Simone Mueller, Brady Armstrong's nasty, attention-crazed talent agent.

She's been doing everything she can to use the kidnapping to divert attention away from the fact that Maya's been kidnapped to the idea of Brady being a hero. It turns out, she was the one who sent the funeral wreath as a publicity stunt.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Zachary Quinto as Nick Falcone, the leader of a political activist group that's protesting the demolition of the Royal Palladium.

He's personally invested in this particular protest because his grandmother was the artist for the theater during its construction, but was never paid. It turns out, Harry Houdini gave his half of the theater to Nick's grandmother and her family. After the demolition was stopped, Brady gave Nick full ownership of the theater.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Julie Andrews as Eustacia Andropov, the widow of one of Harry Houdini's cousins. Nancy called her for information regarding Harry Houdini's involvement in the Royal Palladium in the 1920s.
Ditto the split screen conversations.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Timothy Spall as Sherman Trout, who works at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. Eustacia suggested Nancy call him for information about Houdini and the Royal Palladium.
Ditto the split screen conversations.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Kirsten Storms as Madeline, a girl who works at the County Records Department. Nancy calls her to find out more about the theater.
Ditto the split screen conversations. Likely cameo appearance.
186FleetStreet's rating:

Andreas Apergis as Sergeant Mac Ramsay, the police officer "in charge" of Maya's kidnapping case. At first, he's reluctant to believe Nancy about the whole thing.
Ditto the split screen conversations.

Brad Dourif as the Amazing Monty game, an old, animatronic game in the theater's basement.
