None of these are essential, but they're all solidly entertaining...especially if you're into horror.

The 00s produced the first movie to scare me since I was younger, and that's the one that took top honors. Granted Funny Games and Ils/Them already mined the same story, but I saw The Strangers first. :P Lots of foreign horror this decade, as American horror mostly came in the form of crappy/overrated remakes. The originals are always better.
