In the 1980s and 90s, Rob Zombie emerged as a successful musician equally as a solo performer and as a component of his heavy metal band, White Zombie. " Created by: Rob Zombie Number of film: 3 Years active: 2003 - 2018 Best in the series: House of 1,000 Corpses My take on the series: I have only seen the first two, so that it’s hard to comment on it as a whole. That been said, they are a grimy, exploitation, grunge feast, that is not for everyone. Maybe one day, I will see part 3. Update: I saw 3 From Hell, and it was okay I guess? Hopefully, it’s the end of the series."

"Rob Zombie's movie debut earned him a place in the annals of horror, no matter how divisive his work would prove later. Rife with odes to the films that made him, fantastic lighting evocative of Bava, some brilliantly composed scenes/shots, a slew of memorable characters, a fantastic soundtrack, top notch effects, a plot that goes from run of the mill to batshit crazy, and a psychedlic, neo-exploitation vibe, there is much to be enjoyed in this flick. "

"Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen, and Firefly House, somewhere in Texas. A gas station, restaurant, and amusement attraction dedicated to murders. And the creepy house, not to far away from there. Why you wouldn’t want to visit: Because the murderous Firefly family live there. And maybe Dr. Satan? “Ahhhhhhh.... Dr. Satan! Dr. Satan!”"

"Dennis Fimple (Grandpa Hugo) Matthew McGrory (Tiny) Karen Black (Mama Firefly) Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding) Bill Moseley (Otis Driftwood) Sheri Moon Zombie (Baby Firefly) "

"Started Date: 27 May 2017. Finished Date: 27 May 2017."

"Firefly Family. Captain Spaulding: "Howdy Folks! You like blood? Violence? Freaks of nature? Well then, come on down to Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Mad-Men." "But MOST of all... fuck YOU!" Otis: "It's all true. The bogeyman is real and you found him." "Huntin' humans ain't nothin' but nothin'. They all run like scared little rabbits. Run, rabbit, run. Run, rabbit. Run, rabbit. Run rabbit. Run, rabbit, run! RUN, RABBIT, RUN!" Baby: "We like to get fucked up and do some fucked up"

" Another example of a film that is not nearly as shocking as expected, but at least it's entertaining. This film was mentioned on the Big Bang Theory and they made it sound like it's the nastiest movie ever. To me at least, it seemed to be a dark comedy much of the time. Captain Spaulding was definitely underused."
