We have to give kudos to Jennifer Love Hewitt, who successfully managed to make a flawless transition from wide-eyed child star to Tinseltown bombshell -- no easy feat in Hollywood. The actress got her start doing commercials before she enjoyed a brief stint on the Disney Channel show "Kids Incorporated." In 1995, Hewitt landed a part on the hit Fox sitcom "Party of Five" and took a lead role in the horror classic "I Know What You Did Last Summer." After experimenting with music (she has four studio albums under her belt) and penning her 2010 New York Times Bestseller "The Day I Shot Cupid," Hewitt is back on television starring on Lifetime's highly acclaimed television drama "The Client List."

Whether you had their poster on your wall or they were your first celebrity crush, these '90s teen heartthrobs all eventually moved on from teen stardom -- some more successfully than others. See what they all are up to now ... Mario Lopez has always had that something "Extra." The television host is just as cute now as he was during his "Saved by the Bell" days when he set hearts aflutter as the hunky A.C. Slater. Since wrapping up the show in 1993, he went on to star in a few minor roles but has found most of his success taking on hosting gigs, appearing on everything from MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew" to "The X Factor." In 2006, he was a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" where he partnered up with Karina Smirnoff. Today, fans can see him on "Extra" along with his gorgeous co-host Maria Menounos.

Joey Lawrence is still making a "splash" even though it's been decades since he burst onto the Hollywood scene. The heartthrob shot to fame on "Blossom" - whoa! These days he's hosting ABC's reality show "Splash." Lawrence, minus his trademark heartthrob hairdo, has appeared on an episode of "Californication" and starred on "Melissa and Joey" from 2010-2013 alongside fellow '90s star Melissa Joan Hart.

James Van Der Beek sure has grown up since his days in Capeside. His character on "Dawson's Creek" may have been pining after Joey Potter, but the blond teen idol had legions of girls pining after him. Playing the sensitive Dawson Leery from 1998-2003 on the WB series, Van Der Beek was the "It" guy in the late '90s. The now 36-year-old actor, who has two young children with wife Kimberly Brook, has carved out a career for himself on the small screen. From appearing on shows like "How I Met Your Mother" to playing a fictionalized version of himself on "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23," this '90s icon has proven he hasn't lost his charm.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, or better known as JTT to his legions of admirers, was a major teen idol in the '90s. The actor gained a massive following starring as the young Randy Taylor on the hit show "Home Improvement" from 1991-98. After a stint on "Veronica Mars" in 2005, an all grown up JTT delighted fans when he reunited with his on-screen dad Tim Allen for the season finale of ABC's "Last Man Standing" (r.) in March 2013.

As the most popular girl in Bayside High School from 1989-1993, Tiffani Thiessen played Zach Morris' love interest Kelly Kapowski on "Saved by the Bell." A year later, the actress went on to star in another hit teen series, "Beverly Hills, 90210." Thiessen, 39, has since become a mom, welcoming daughter Harper Renn Smith in 2010, and has been playing the role of Elizabeth Burke on the USA Network television series "White Collar" since 2009.

Not that there was ever any doubt, but Zach Morris turned into a total hunk. Playing the popular teen heartthrob on "Saved by the Bell," Mark-Paul Gosselaar shot to mega fame and into the hearts of girls everywhere in the early '90s. Gosselaar continued to play Morris in the follow up "Saved by the Bell: The College Years." The actor has been a TV regular since then, appearing on "NYPD Blue" from 2001-2005. He currently stars in the TNT series "Franklin & Bash," though he's sporting a much different look. Gosselaar, 39, has ditched his blond locks and returned to his natural brown hair color.

Few actresses could compete with "It Girl" Sarah Michelle Gellar throughout the 1990s. The blond beauty rose to stardom on the ABC soap opera "All My Children," winning a daytime Emmy for her role of Kendall Hart when she was just 18. After playing successful parts in "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and "Scream 2," Gellar landed the lead role in the mega successful 1997 TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," cementing herself as a '90s icon. The show lasted seven seasons, during which she also filmed movies including the cult classic "Cruel Intentions" and "Scooby Doo." After taking a brief hiatus from acting, Gellar returned to television starring in the CW drama "Ringer" in 2011, but the show was canceled after just one season. Next up, she is expected to star opposite Robin Williams in the CBS pilot "The Crazy Ones."

Freddie Prinze Jr. rocketed to '90s heartthrob status with the box office hit "I Know What You Did Last Summer." After playing the lead role in the 1999 romcom "She's All That," the actor went on to do a few more movies in the early 2000s, most notably playing Fred Jones in "Scooby-Doo." Prinze tried his hand at TV acting, starring in his own sitcom "Freddie" in 2005, but the show was canceled after just one season. Currently, he works as a director and producer for World Wrestling Entertainment, but his main priority is his family. Prinze married his "I Know What You Did Last Summer" co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002. The couple have two young children together.

Boys, meet Topanga! heaven! Unfortunately for Danielle Fishel and Ben Savage, growing up in their "Boy Meets World" roles has forever tagged the pair as Cory and Topanga. Though it's been 12 years since the show's been off the air, the TV couple will reunite for a sequel, "Girl Meets World." The stars will reprise their roles as parents to 13-year-old daughter, Riley. In real life, Fishel has nabbed a few other notable roles like playing Marla in "National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze," hosting Style Network's "The Dish," and becoming a spokeswoman for Nutrisystem. Fishel made sure she was back in the spotlight after posing for a racy spread in Maxim's April 2013 issue, flaunting her cleavage in nothing but a lacy red bustier.

Rider Strong's most famous role is definitely as Shawn Hunter, and while Cory and Topanga's BFF hasn't signed onto the show's much anticipated sequel "Girl Meets World," that doesn't mean Strong's career is dead. Strong appeared in "Cabin Fever" and "Borderland" after hanging up his hat as Shawn Hunter. Strong has also successfully made the jump from child actor to director and even screenwriter with his work on short films "Irish Twins" and "The Dungeon Master." After "Boy Meets World," Strong also earned a degree in English from Columbia University in 2004.

Audiences have been "Charmed" by brunette bombshell Alyssa Milano for decades. Although she is best known for her role as sexy witch Phoebe Halliwell on the WB series "Charmed," Milano got her start on the sitcom "Who's the Boss?" before moving onto film roles including 1985's "Commando" and the TV movie "Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story" in 1993. She also starred as Jennifer Mancini in the late '90s TV hit Melrose Place. Her most recent film role was in the 2011 romantic comedy "New Year's Eve," where she appeared in an ensemble cast along with Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher and Robert De Niro.

Heartthrob Ryan Phillippe began his acting career on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live" in 1992. He was part of the all-star cast in the 1997 hit "I Know What You Did Last Summer," appearing alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt. His next hit came in 1998 when he starred opposite Neve Cambpell and Salma Hayek in the drama "54." A year later, he played the lead in "Cruel Intentions" alongside his future wife Reese Witherspoon. The two were married in 1999. The couple had two children together before divorcing in 2007, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their split. In the 2000s Phillippe continued to prove his acting chops, appearing in the 2001 drama "Gosford Park" and the 2005 Oscar-winning ensemble film "Crash." He has also had a recurring role on the television series "Damages" in 2012. Lately, Phillippe can be found on the other side of the camera. He's acting, directing and producing the upcoming film "Shreveport."

That hair! That smirk! Though Andrew Keegan appeared on several '90s TV sitcoms, including "Full House," "7th Heaven," "Boy Meets World" and "Thunder Alley," it was the heartthrob's turn as the self-absorbed bad boy Joey Donner in the 1999 smash hit "10 Things I Hate About You" that really made girls swoon. Nowadays, the 34-year-old actor's career has slowed down a bit. Keegan can count an appearance on "CSI" in 2012 and a role in the 2013 film "April Rain" among his most recent work.

Luke Perry's portrayal of brooding Dylan McKay on "Beverly Hills, 90210" was bound to leave its mark. Starring in seasons 1 through 6 starting in 1990 and then returning to the hit cult series for seasons 9 and 10 from 1998-2000, Perry found himself the object of every teen's affection. Through the years, Perry, 46, has filmed many TV guest spots and done significant voice-over work, playing himself on "The Simpsons" and "Johnny Bravo." The former teen idol also appeared in "The Rocky Horror Show" on Broadway in 2001 and most recently appeared on ABC's "Body of Proof."

Unless you were living under a rock in the '90s, you know who Devon Sawa is. Sawa broke onto the scene with his sweet baby blues in the 1994 film "Little Giants," and followed up with roles in the 1995 films "Casper," "Wild America" (l.) and "Now and Then". Sawa, now 34, also appeared in 2000's "Final Destination" and in Eminem's music video for his song "Stan." These days, the '90s heartthrob has found his way back into the spotlight playing the role of Owen Elliott on the CW series "Nikita."

Long before Justin Bieber was even a blip on pop culture's radar, tweenage fans were MMMBoppin' along to one Hanson hit after another. The singing trio of brothers Zac, Isaac and Taylor broke into the '90s music scene with their commercial debut album "Middle of Nowhere," which snagged them three Grammy nominations in 1998 and sold more than 10 million copies world-wide. They followed up their success with a Christmas album, two documentaries and a sold-out concert tour, but that all came to a halt after the band's label, Mercy Records, merged with Island Def Jam and the group decided to leave and sign on with an independent label. These days, the boys are ready for their comeback. After touring Canada with Carly Rae Jepsen in 2012, Hanson returned to the recording studio to churn out their forthcoming album, "Anthem," which is set to release in June 2013. This time around, the pop rock brothers are all grown up -- and also married. Sorry, ladies!

Jonathan Jackson caused a teen frenzy playing the role of Lucky Spencer on the daytime soap opera "General Hospital" from 1993-1999. The good-looking actor went on to star in Disney's "Tuck Everlasting" in 2002 and the 2004 "Dirty Dancing" sequel "Havana Nights." Nowadays, the '90s heartthrob can add musician to his resume, appearing as singer-songwriter Avery Barkley on ABC's "Nashville."
