The most underrated actors

Desmond Harrington most notably known for his role on the Showtime series Dexter has been less than appreciated for his talent. Starring in movies like Wrong Turn and The Hole, Desmond Harrington easily incorporates his scene stealing ability into every role that usually goes unnoticed.

Starring in mainly supporting roles on TV shows like Charmed and Army Wives. The only roles he seems to get are ones only on TV and unknown projects that go under the radar. He is exceptionally and equally talented as a slew of other actors and yet he goes without the recognition.

Although he has many big films on his resume' as well as many in depth characters Bettany still lacks the attention his acting deserves.

Starring in mainly independent films Csokas has perfected accents and emotion on screen. His acting is overlooked although he can easily match anyone that's focused on in Hollywood.

An actress since her youth Christina Ricci is one of the most talented stars to come out of child acting. Overlooked and unrecognized Ricci flies under the radar without so much as a nod to her talent.

Kirsten Dunst is a delight to watch on film, brightening the scenes she's in, the scenes she gets no credit for. Her acting spreads beyond her many roles and hopefully her career and fame extends with it.

Hounsou is at times recognized and yet in other movies his performances are passed up despite the power he pours into every role.

Perhaps one of the biggest stars of Hollywood Monroe is an icon in every sense of the word. Her beauty, screen persona, and allure are all remembered fondly. But her acting is overlooked due to the attributes listed above. With only two films to her name that provided enough material for her abilities Monroe suffered for her beauty.

One of the best actors of the Golden era of Hollywood, Heflin was given no recognition. His ability to masquerade himself convincingly into every role was outstanding.

A brilliant comedic actor Montgomery stole scenes with his quick delivery. Yet his dramatic acting, shown magnificently in Night Must Fall, never comes to mind when he is mentioned.

An intense and highly emotional actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers is often casted but it wasn't until The Tudors did people really take notice. However even after the shows end he wasn't given any sort of recognition.

A relentless talent Dormer is practically unheard of except in her role as Anne Boleyn in The Tudors. She's beautiful and hugely talented and yet no one gives her any sort of attention.

Only now being recognized as he begins his stint as Superman in the new reprisal of the superhero, Cavill has been acting brilliantly for a long time. His personality on screen is evident and so is his powerful charisma.

Starring mainly in strictly low grade movies Bentley held his weight in American Beauty and has since then gone unnoticed.

Another child star Fanning is a rare talent for the young hollywood scene however she has less roles than those her age and half as talented.
