Jaws (1975)
Day 2: One of your earliest encounters with the horror genre.

Watched it with my parents when I was 5 years old, and it made me paranoid when it came to swimming.

Day 8: Best comedy-horror.

I love "Return of the Living Dead", "Evil Dead 2" and "An American Werewolf in London", and so on, but this has to be my favorite comedy-horror flick.

I really love this flick. It's genuinely scary, with a lot of unsettling scenes.

Slugs (1988)
Day 14: The cheesiest horror you’ve ever seen.

From the unfitting soundtrack, to the murderous slugs and the hilarious deaths, this film is pure cheese.

Day 15: A great 80’s horror movie.

It's got Lovecraft, Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton, Ken Foree, fantastic gore, actual tension, and phenomenal creature effects. What's not to love?

The Devil's Rock (2011)
Day 16: Great indie horror.
A really, really underrated indie flick, with a really cool concept, surprisingly good acting, top notch gore, and a memorable villain.

Day 19: A movie that disappointed you.

I wouldn't say it's a bad film, I just didn't really care for it.

Saw (2004)
Day 20: A great twist ending.

I know that it's an obvious choice, but I still think the first Saw has a really surprising and shocking twist.

Shadow (2010)
Day 21: A horrible/lame twist

The twist ruined the movie. It was unoriginal, and didn't make that much sense.

Insidious (2011)
Day 23: Scariest old person.

I find a lot of old people to be creepy, and the old lady from Insidious is one of 'em.

Day 25: A franchise you don’t like.

The first one is decent at best, and I gotta admit that it's slightly nostalgic to me. The sequels are horrible, though.

The Thing (2011)
Day 26: Worst sequel

I know it's a prequel, but I really don't care. It's awful, and I've NEVER left the cinema as angry as I was after watching it.
