" "It's almost time, kids. The clock is ticking. Be in front of your TV sets for the Horrorthon, followed by the Big Giveaway. Don't miss it. And don't forget to wear your masks. The clock is ticking. It's almost time." At midnight, Halloween III will be shown. It’s an indirect sequel, to Halloween II, and it’s about grim hauntings, in a small costal California town, which is home to Silver Shamrock, a company that makes Halloween masks. And possibly, something more sinister! Starring, Tom"

"Pros: It’s bold direction from the first two films. The make up effects. It’s a one of the most terrifying entries in the series. Tom Atkins Dan O'Herlihy as the bad guy. The creepy Silver Shamrock ad! “Make it stop!” The film’s score, by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth. Con: For some, if there is no Michael Myers, then what is the point?"

"Directed by: Tommy Lee Wallace Cinematography: Dean Cundey "

"Rated: R Why it’s rated: Graphic violence, profanity, and adult situations. Happy Halloween!"

"For critics it was laudable deviation from series formula not withstanding, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch offers paltry thrills and dubious plotting. My thoughts? I like that it is different from the other Halloween films, and it is terrifying at times too. I definitely recommend Halloween Iii. "

"Santa Mira, California Santa Mira, California is the name of a fictional California town in the following science fiction or horror works: Why you wouldn’t want to visit: Silver Shamrock Novelties, is located there owned and operated by Conal Cochrane, who has as an evil plan, to make Halloween Samhain again. “Oh, and by the way.... Happy Halloween.”"
A not so happy Halloween season
“John Carpenter's 1978 'Halloween' is wholly deserving of its status as a horror classic. To this day it's still one of the freakiest films personally seen and introduced the world to one of horror's most iconic villainous characters Michael Myers.Which is why it is such a shame that not only are all of the sequels nowhere near as good but that the decline in quality is so drastic. Ok, the original 'Halloween' is very difficult to follow on from, but most of the sequels could at least looked like effort was made into them. 'Halloween III: Season of the Witch' had a generally negative critical reception and is still considered by many one of the worst of the series, but has garnered fans overtime. To me, 'Halloween III: Season of the Witch' is not that awful, but it is not a particularly goo” read more

"Plot: A devious plot for mass ritual murder is uncovered behind the guise of an unsuspecting mask company. Long overlooked but recently reappraised, this non-Myers Halloween installment proves to the best thing (aside from the original) that came from the original run of the franchise. Gung-ho with its bizarre and over the top nature and spearheaded by affable macho Tom Atkins, this grim plot throws everything at you from automatons to cults to apocalyptic plots. At times bonkers enough to cull"
