Calvaire (2004) (2005)

Tempted to move this to another category just because despite all the blood, this isn't really a horror film that most people will enjoy. For the simple fact that this is a surrealist artistic film that has more to do with the stations of the cross then Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The twisted humor runs on the intellectual side regarding, the artist, the fan, the critic and the public.

Creep (2005)

Review by pamela voorhees
Trapped in a subway station with a killer on the lose may sound like a tired script idea however Christopher Smith continues to twist the horror genre and crafts highly interesting films.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Theatrical Trailer
Yep a remake but a pretty good one. I have actually watched the film more then once.

At Your Own Risk

Theatrical Trailer
Would have been more interesting if it had followed the comic "Alien vs Predator" (Yes, dig through the comic bins this isn't a new concept). Still, for pure monster chaos stupidity this was rather fun.
jaytoast's rating:

Blade: Trinity (2004)

Theatrical Trailer
The trilogy starts with an epically huge 'ancient temple' under LA... that no one had ever managed to find and you expect the series to get better?

The Butterfly Effect (2004)

Theatrical Trailer
More then a few people have disliked this film. I sort of enjoyed the film... the next three sequels on the other hand... bleck.

Abandon hope all ye who rent

Ah, well if PvtCaboose91 is asking to give the film zero stars you can bet I'll be storing radioactive waste in my apartment before watching this film.

Future Horrors...

Unseen Horror...

Guide to how the list is divided
"Top Picks"
Movies I would Recommend to fans of horror with a few personal favorites
"At Your Own Risk"
Films I wouldn't automatically recommend to horror fans.
So, sort of a mixed assortment of films that I like but others hate or others like and I don't.
"Killer B's"
Sometimes I like a bad move but best to just skip them. Unless your in the mood for that sort of thing.
"Abandon hope all ye who rent"
Films I highly recommend not watching
"Future Horrors"
Films that sound interesting and might one day watch
"Unseen Horrors"
Movies I haven't seen and quite possibly have no intention of ever watching
