" If Lula knows one thing in this world, it's that she's destined to be with her ex-con boyfriend Sailor - no matter how many times her mama tries to kill him. But when she and Sailor finally hit the road in a desperate bid to find happiness, their journey plunges them into a disturbing underworld filled with sexual secrets and dangerous desires that form a terrifying "tapestry of human extremity”. " First Viewing Viewing Date: February 5th Via: iTunes Store Plot: After breaking parole for self defensive manslaughter, Sailor Ripley and his girlfriend Lula Fortune head down the highway for sunny California. Lula's mother sends out a private detective and a hitman after them. Rating: 7.1/10 Why Did I Watch It? The colours look spectacular, and the only two times a slice occurs are when Bobby is on screen. DATE: September 30th 2022 CINEMA: The Prince Charles Cinema LOCATION: West End"

The story does feel very randomly structured at times, especially true with Crispin Glover, and some of the pacing slackens; the film could have done with being shorter as some scenes did feel too padded and underdeveloped, and the script can be a confused jumble and not always easy to understand completely(though admittedly there are some quotable lines). " Date: 8/30/2021 Viewed: Blu-Ray (Shout Factory) Re-Watch Note: I wanted to end the month of August with a movie that I haven't watched in years. I bought the Shout Factory Blu-ray during their big sale a while back and it was worth it. Wild at Heart is still a fantastic movie in my opinion. My favorite thing about Wild at Heart is the atmosphere and the aesthetics. I love how the film looks and feels with the dark colorful cinematography from Frederick Elmes (Night on Earth).
