Well we seem to have a split jury on this one. Personally this film was one of the most boring experiences I've ever had watching a movie. From the beginning I was waiting for it to end, I did not come in with any preconceived notions either, this was my first David Lynch movie and it was a disappointment. The Lead actor Henry Spencer was bland but the Lady in the Radiator was quite disturbing. The... read more

This was David Lynch's full length feature directing debut and it took him about 5 years to finish it with not much of a financial backing. Personally, this movie had a massive impact on me and it has always been a major influence on my movie watching ever since. The first time I saw it, it happened to be in the movie theater, I was about 15 or 16 years old and, at the time, I was completely blown... read more

Eraserhead is now the single most bizarre film that I have ever seen. Eraserhead has dethroned The Fountain from that spot. It is a film that is filled with a very complex story that is very hard to follow. It is one of those films that some people probably wouldn't like very much because of that. There are people who do appreciate this film because of the art of the film and the way it is filmed ... read more

"Re-watch - June 12th HBO Max It's been about 20ish years since I last watched Eraserhead, & the 1st time I saw it I really disliked it. But back then it was only the 2nd Lynch film I'd seen, while now I've seen several. I'm not a big fan of his, as his style doesn't always work for me, but I wanted to give this another chance. So I dialed my patience up & waded back in. This time around I got more out of it, though I wouldn't say I enjoyed it much. He's clearly working through his thoughts on "

A dark dream of disturbing things...

“Warning: SpoilersFirst of all, let me say that Eraserhead is not a film for everyone. Many people will find themselves confused by the strange atmosphere, surreal imagery, and signature David Lynch sense of purposefully awkward pacing.

That out of the way, I would have to say that this is possibly one of my most personal favorite films. It is dark, tense, atmospheric, and filled with sounds and images that will send chills up your spine. It is a film that takes more than one viewing to truly begin to comprehend, but is quite a ride nontheless. There are moments in this movie that will literally scare you, so much so that one could almost call this eerie surreal art-film a deconstructed domestic horror movie. This film, along with the original black and white Night of the Living d” read more

" Date: 10/19/2020 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-Watch Note: Eraserhead is one of those movies that I always have a hard time talking about because you really have to see it to believe. I found myself trying to figure out what to say about this movie without posting any spoilers for the past hour now. Eraserhead is the ultimate nightmare fuel movie in my opinion and I still consider it to be David Lynch's best movie. Eraserhead sums up on what I love about avant-garde and experimental films.
