I didn't like it as much as I did the last time I watched it, since I noticed a lot of flaws and unfitting/corny parts this time. Still, I really like this one, and demonic possession + space ship = win in my book.
+ The cinematography is great, and I really like the occult recordings of the previous crew.

Prometheus (2012)
Date: 1. June
While I can admit that, yes, this movie is not perfect and it has some flaws (It feels rushed at times, It has some undeveloped characters and a lot of unanswered questions), I can't help that I absolutely LOVED this film!
The visuals are amazing and the atmosphere is very similar to Alien at times, while it's completely different at other times.
I also got to admit, that I found this movie to have some truly scary and nightmarish parts.
But I gotta say that one of the strongest points in the film, is the absolutely phenomenal acting. Especially Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, and Charlize Theron as a vicious bitch.
I'm not sure if I'll recommend it to everyone, but I loved it.

Being one of the best zombie films and horror-comedies ever, this film is entertaining all the way, with funny characters, great dialogue, really cool effects and a lot of memorable moments.

I love this movie.
The style is unique, the atmosphere is desolate and absolutely terrifying, the symbolism is powerful and the lack of music makes it truly creepy.

A tight, claustrophobic and paranoia fueled sci-fi film, with a damn good cast.
That sums it up, but I've got 2 more things to say:
1. I love the ending, which is really, really damn dark.
2. One thing that kind of confuses me is how the "pod people" reproduce. Instead of making clones when people fall asleep, wouldn't it be easier just to possess their bodies?

A really fun and gruesome remake, with incredible effects! The characters aren't outstanding, but they're likable enough, and the script offers some funny dialogue and moments.
This is one of the films that balances being funny and terrifying, really well.

I don't feel the need to explain why this movie is awesome again here, since I've already done it in my favorie zombie movies-list.

Eraserhead (1977)
*re-watch*
I didn't like it as much this time, and I don't think it's David Lynch's best film.
I still liked the surrealism, symbolism and utter mindfuckery this film contains.

Not your standard action film.
It's dark, grimy and actually slightly depressing. Rambo's speech at the end is one of the most powerful moments in film I've seen for a while.

Audition (1999)
- First Time Watch -
I really liked the slow pace of the film. It built up the characters well and made them realistic and somewhat sympathetic. Even though not much happened and it felt like a drama more than a horror flick, it still had some tension.
Where it kind of lost me, was near the end. I had no problems with the torture, but the dream (or not?) parts confused me.
Still, I really liked it and it's one of the best modern day horror films, in my opinion.

Blue Velvet (1986)

A phenomenal neo-noir, with great acting and writing, beautiful cinematography, and one of the best soundtracks to a film I've ever heard.

While I did think this movie was really interesting, and the cast is freaking fantastic, I found this movie to be dreadfully slow and boring. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people with a short attention-span, but this one was too slow.
I also didn't like having the characters tell what happened, rather than the film actually showing a lot of the stuff that was happening.
