Ever noticed that in sci-fi and fantasy films and tv shows there's usually one? When it's a British production it's usually a given that there will be Scottish actors, but when it's American made the Scottish actor is more of a token figure. I've included some British films anyway since it's fun to find where the Scots pop up.
