A for amazing in Oz ! Those who saw Tom Fontana's masterpiece for HBO know what i'm talking about. In the drama series depicting life behind bars, Acevedo plays Miguel Alvarez, a third generation convict. Like his grandpa and father, Miguel lands in Oz after lynching a guy who bumped in his car. Miguel's life is a curse : first he's supposed to take control of the Latinos, then gets in trouble with his "brothers" Raoul Hernandez, Carlo Ricardo, Enrique Morales and Chico Guerra.
What is amazing with Acevedo in his acting is the pathetic look he gives to Alvarez, which kill count in Oz is huge but it always kinda feels like he had no other options left. Disturbing and yet so moving to see the world crumble around him piece by piece.
