Top 10 movies (when I was 31)
These are my personal favorites, movies that I really liked last year.
Dominate here great animation and sci-fi (a genre that I absolutely love and which recently absorbs me completely, mainly in the books).
Big Hero 6 (10/10) - really brilliant. I love Hiro, I love Baymax, I love Tadashi and all their friends, it's a wonderful story, it gives a lot to think about and there was plenty of humor, which I like. Shaun the Sheep Movie (10/10) - I saw this movie in the cinema with my son and husband. We all had a wonderful time. A lot of humor, a great story, and of course brilliant main character. The Maze Runner (9/10) - I read the entire Maze Runner trilogy, and since the beginning of 2014 I've been waiting for this movie, with the hope that I will have the opportunity to see it in the cinema. And it worked! It was my first visit to the cinema in 2014 and I'm really happy with this screening. I'd be in spite of myself, I gave a lower rating than 9 stars because I really liked the book and the movie was really cool. Great role of Dylan O'Brien, very reliable. I love it and I look forward to the next! The Fault in Our Stars (9/10) - Absolutely stunning story. I fell in love at the beginning and throughout the movie that feeling isn't weakened. Everything was interesting, story, acting, original dialogues, a pinch of humor and music that fits brilliantly to the whole. I have to admit that after 'Divergent' I wasn't impressed Shailene Woodley, but here she was amazing. She perfectly fit for this role. I give nine and totally regret that I didn't read book earlier. Frozen (9/10) - I'm delighted. It was a really beautiful story. I really miss these classic tales of contemporary cinema... Lots of music, the real climate. Beautifully visually, I'm really impressed. Rush (9/10) - I think it was a great movie. Very well realized, I felt the tension, I felt like I was accompanied by all the events on the screen. Beautiful scenery, rain in Japan, the sky... amazing, each race scene so real. I knew the whole story just a little bit, I'm very glad that I watched this movie. Daniel Brรผhl was brilliant and I think, that it was the best role of Chris Hemsworth. Lone Survivor (9/10) - Great cast, I expect much and I wasn't disappointed. I think that this whole story is good, moving and definitely filmed very reliably, I almost felt the pain of those people. It was nice to see Alexander Ludwig, one of my favorite characters from the Vikings. And Mark Wahlberg getting better. I love it. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (9/10) - I love it! The first part was great, this one was also sensational. Maybe a little too long, but the whole thing really my taste, and Caesar was brilliant. The Amazing Spider-Man (9/10) - when I was younger I really liked this superhero. He and Superman were the best. Later, in 2002, Tobey Maguire broke my Spider-Man vision. And additionally Kirsten Dunst... bleeh. I hated everything related to film adaptations of Spiderman. So when in 2012, a new version was released, I had not even want to watch. Today I overcame my hatred and spent the evening with the new Spider-Man, which was brilliant! The perfect actor on the perfect place, in my opinion, such should be Spiderman! And Emma... I love this movie! The Railway Man (9/10) - Absolutely beautiful movie. I haven't read the book, so I didn't know what to expect, I read a lot of opinions that the film doesn't have much to do with the book, but I like it. Maybe I read a book one day and I'll check. The whole presented story was very sad and moving, ending very informative. I don't especially like Colin Firth, but here he doesn't irritated me so much. Nicole was brilliant as always.

Drama
Last year I have seen less drama than it was a year earlier, but is still a genre that I watch the most. Last year I watched 31 dramas. Below are my top 10 this genre, except The Railway Man, which was in the top 10 of all films from last year.

Thriller/Crime
Last year I saw 26 thrillers and crime movies. It's about 10 less than when I was 30 but it's still one of the dominant genres that I watch. Below are my top 10 in this genre.

Sci-Fi
Last year I saw much more sci-fi (23), I really like this genre and I hope that next year will be even more. Except The Maze Runner, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and The Amazing Spider-Man from top 10, I really liked those below.

Animation
When I was 30, I saw only 9 of animation, last year the number increased to 17. My son is bigger, we started going to the cinema, of which I'm happy. He's interested in increasingly longer animations, so next year we watch certainly more. Below are those that I like, besides the top three in the top 10.

Comedy/Family
I saw 15, but I can here mention only 3. All the rest is not worth much attention, unfortunately.

Adventure/Fantasy
I saw 12 movies in these genres.
