Following his surprising success with 'Ice Age', instead of making some sequels (which would still be produced by Blue Sky with some massive box-office returns), Chris Wedge decided to deliver some original work and he should be definitely praised for that choice. Description: Young Mary Katherine (M.K.) returns to her eccentric scientist father's home, but his all-consuming quest to discover a tiny civilization in the neighboring forest drives them apart. "2014/01/03 First viewing. @home w/ Kendra and Katy on Blueray Interesting story and fun concept, with a predictable plot. Still enjoyable and had great graphics. With the exception of the dad being ridiculous looking and less human than the rest."
