Review
The second Bond movie which featured Pierce Brosnan as the British agent wasn't as good as the first. Okay, so it had an interesting storyline, but compared to Goldeneye, it was a bit of a mess. Too much explosions and show of terrorism definitely clouded the film. It was still a good attempt, but if you made me... read more

" The follow up, to Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies is pretty much a Hong Kong action movie, with Bond going up against a Rupert Murdock like industrialist played by Jonathan Pryce, who wants to orchestrate a disaster in order to sell more newspapers. An ingenious plan, if there ever was one. Action packed, from beginning to end, James Bond fans thought it was adequate, as did critics. Many pointed out, that film’s high point was Michelle Yeoh, and her action sequences."
One of the better Brosnan Bonds
“I consider GoldenEye the best of the Brosnan Bonds, but this entry isn't half bad either. It has some terrific cinematography and locations, a great score and theme song, a good script and some excellent action. In general the plot is not too bad, the first half was gripping and plausible, however with the transition from Europe to Asia the film loses its way. Also I found Elliot Carver rather nonthreatening and somewhat pathetic as a villain though Jonathan Pryce did well with what he had. That said, Pierce Brosnan is excellent as Bond and Terri Hatcher is a great match for him. And the support of Judi Dench goes down well too. Overall, very good on the whole. 8/10 Bethany Cox” read more

Scenes with obvious studio lighting are a bit hit-or-miss for me; at their best they still look top notch and at their worst they just have an (intentional) pop 90's look that I'm not much a "

"25.8. Seuraava Bond-elokuva olikin sitten taas melkoinen pudotus yleisessä tasossa.
