Good Comic Based Movie

First off, you really can't go too wrong with a movie based on a superhero, and this one is no exception. Not only did I enjoy the movie, but the story behind ghost rider was something I never really knew. I will have to read up on it an find out how close the movie was, hopefully it was dead on. Ghost Rider - don't bother watching

I had been told not to bother watching this movie, but since I had it on hand, I decided to give it a try....and found myself wishing I hadn't. It is not a good film, not well acted, not well written, and the special effects, for the most part, suck.
In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sadly parts from the pure-hearted Roxanne Simpson, the love of his life. Years later, Johnny's path crosses again with Roxanne and Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if he becomes the fiery Ghost Rider.

Painfully 2000's, Eva Mendes being in this movie at all is evidence of that, nevermind her character being useless and vapid. That, and what I can only imagine is an grisly dumbing-down of the source material (at least I hope).
