Seen in 2015

I have started to like MI- movies more after Simon Pegg has become a bigger part. but this movie was so predictable that... And the action was okay just okay. I don't think that you can take Ethan Hunt down even with a nuke nowdays... That drowning+car crash+bike crash-combo was pretty fucking stupid. Hunt has the John McClane-virus from the newer movies and there's really no suspense, which makes me not like these movies that much. I would rather see Benji and the others take the lead. I liked the beginning where the bad guy had managed to win Hunt many times and that led me expecting more out of him. But after Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance (MI 3) Sean Harris (who usually is really good creeper/ bad guy imo) didn't feel that great of a bad guy but then again neither did Nyqvist in Ghost Protocol.

Not a perfect movie (the beginning felt a bit rushed imo so did the relationships of the new characters) but made the wait for episode 8 a lot harder for me. Daisy Ridley was biggest surprise and stole the movie. Harrison Ford was so much better/energetic than he has been lately in any movie. Adam Driver's Kylo Ren was great and layered character too and I feel he's going to be even better in the future. Oscar Isaac is becoming one of my favorite actors too and he was good in this.All and all this was great return to the series and and a great birthday gift too.
