"Have you heard of extreme tourism?" The idea of horror film set in the radiation zone surrounding the Chernobyl reactor is bursting with potential, so it's a shame that Chernobyl Diaries is such a dismal failure. I thought there could have been a chance with this movie based on it's interesting premise, it's an intriguing idea but this is an example of what not to do.

Chernobyl Diaries - Better than I thought it was going to be. Some good scares and it held my attention throughout. Worth the watch. 7/10

"Alku lupaa hyvää, koska tämä ei ollutkaan "kaikki kuvataan" -elokuva. Pohjustus myös tehdään ihan kiinnostavasti. Hahmoista alkaa välittää, mutta sitten, kun sinne reaktorin tuhoamaan kylään saavutaan, meininki muuttuu hetkessä yhdentekeväksi. Liian pimeässä kuvatut tilanteet eivät jaksa kiinnostaa, samalla myöskään hahmojen kohtalosta ei jaksa enää välittää. Tässä oli kyllä potentiaalia parempaan, vaikka loppuratkaisu onkin kliseinen."
