The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - PlayStation 4
I had only seen some footage of the earlier games but this one just pulled me in instantly and I just fell in love with this game. Played it on Death March- difficulty and really enjoyed the gameplay. Witcher did the sidequests perfectly and I really was surprised when I got addicted to Gwent (only started playing it near the end). One of my favorite games now definitely.

It had some problems too: few hard crashes, the loading times and glitches but the rest was so good that those didn't bother me that much. Well the loading times almost got me few times... when I was a shitty witcher and kept dying over and over again. The wait just felt worse and worse. But they made the loading times shorter if I remember correctly from the last time I roamed the lands with Roach.

This game was the first one that I ever had bought the season pass and I bought t after the first night I played the game.
I have saved the Heart of Stone for later because of Fallout 4, Batman and MGS V but I think that it's next thing that I shall play. It might be rough return though... I think my witchering-skills are a bit rusted now.

Fallout 4 - PlayStation 4
So addicting with it's atmosphere and the world. I've played this once now... 2,5 weeks went fast with just Fallout and eating and sleeping.

The game is technically so unpolished. I think I had 6 or 7 hard crashes. and they started after I was past the halfway mark of my first build/play through. Before that i had just ugly clipping and people/animals appearing in weird places. Also the game looks last gen most of the time but then... you sleep and wake in to a beautiful misty morning. The weather-effects can be really gorgeous at times. But when you look at the parts of the buildings and furniture and realize that their number is quite limited every place starts to looks so similar. And that started to work against the game when every interior has the same ''bridges'' and same furniture and ugly low-poly-rubble-clomps everywhere.

But something kept bringing me back to it and I had some really fun times collecting power armors to Sanctuary (I have 15-20 full armors and parts for many more without frames though)Also I had great time with building settlements with surrounding walls and shit-ton of turrets. The building tool is pretty good but at times it was struggle to make the buildings the way you wanted because the building tool wanted to rotate the wall etc. the other way.

I've not been that into FPS's for years now (the third person-view is quite useless especially in combat), so I was surprised how good the game kept me interested in it. But there was some fatigue later on but because the atmosphere/world was so good I had no problems to play it through.

The story was pretty weak and the quests were so similar.
But like I said before about the addicting part something just kept me playing this title.

Batman: Arkham Knight - PlayStation 4
I just love these Rocksteady-made Batman games and this might actually be my favorite of them all. the game-series has just the perfect atmosphere for my taste + batman and the villains.

I played most of the game in the Dark Knight Returns- skin and had so much fun just beating thugs in it. And the way they bring Hamill's Joker back (the performance in this game is so fuckin good and deserves awards) is just great and I was happy that I wasn't spoiled.

I didn't have that big of a problem with the Batmobile-Tank-battles as so many others did. The big one at the GCPD though almost beat me. But other than that it was quite fun to drive around and shoot up the place with it.

The gameplay was solid and I can't remember any performance problems either. A few glitching henchmen flying around was the worst that I can recall.

I haven't still finished 100% or started the KnightFall-protocol ending...The Riddler-stuff hasn't been my favorite part of the series so. But I aim to finish it... Maybe after Heart of Stone is done.

Dragon Age: Inquisition - PlayStation 4
Dragon Age has become probably my second best game-series (after Mass Effect) really fast after I bought the first two in PSN-holiday-sale few years back. I really loved them from the beginning even with the flaws and problems. This one did not disappoint me and it was actually the reason for me to buy the PS4 in October/November of 2014.

And since I was still finishing my studies this year this and EA's Fifa 15 and Ufc were the only games that I owned. This year (2015) I played the game through second and third time and in summer I bought all the story DLC for it. I will probably start my fourth play through some time soon.

The game isn't perfect and for few weeks I had awful time with the game's performance and crashing. But this year I didn't have those kind of problems but the Bioware-brand-problems like sound/voices cutting out or being just weird and some minor problems like that. But I actually have learn to accept these in Bioware-games. I wish the engine switch for ME Andromeda (Never been this hyped for any game... 1 year still to go) fixes some of these typical problems.

Dragon Age series reignited mine love for fantasy-stuff (Dragon Dogma helped)... and and Mass Effect did the same for sci-fi. The world and character- building is so good in these series that they alone are the reason for me to play them even if the technical stuff would need some work on.

Shame that Konami didn't let Kojima and the dev team finish this game properly... (All the other stuff happening in the background was shitty too). At the beginning this game was almost perfect for me. it was so cool just roam around and do the side ops as Snake. The story was pretty good too. Then the repeating the same kind of missions started to get bit boring. And when I got to the point where you have to replay the exactly same missions but with harder difficulty etc. I just stopped and switched to Fallout 4.

After the break the replaying experience felt a bit better but still the game felt so unfinished (story wise). I don't remember any big issues with the game. The horse and d-dog did some stupid things at times though but I didn't have glitching or anything like that at all. The game is really beautiful and technically solid but the world felt a bit empty and the travelling, moving and climbing could have been a lot smoother. I hated that some rocks you could climb over easily and other similar you just couldn't. Kiefer-Snake is either the worst driver or the car controls and driving are horrible.

Also Skullface was pretty disappointing antagonist... And Fuck Huey... I can't remember hating any game character any more. Quiet I liked but the cutscenes and some of the chopper stuff could have been handled better or atleast without any bullshitting by Kojima.

Overall score dropped because the repetition which led some weird continuity and boredom. Gotta say that I would prefer the older games' more linear levels and cinematic storytelling. At first it was weird listening the tapes for the story but it actually worked later quite good during the driving/riding/running between a and b.

I wanted to love this game (Snake Eater is one of my all-time favorites and 4 I thought was pretty good too)but the repetition just beat that out little by little.

Until Dawn - PlayStation 4
Played this one through on New Years Eve with some friends from start to finish. Gameplay isn't that good and the levels are basically straightforward from a to b-walks with totems scattered on some corners, but how the story can change is the most interesting part of this game. The game isn't scary and most of the characters are bland/assholes (on purpose)but it was interesting to see how different the story could be since i had seen one playthrough of it already.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate - PlayStation 4
Fallout 4 kinda stopped my progress. But I'm a fan of the series and on paper the London setting is my favorite definitely.

The Jack the Ripper dlc might bring me back to it fast...but for now: I can't really say much about this since I really didn't get too far in it. Though I already had one game breaking glitch on one of the detective/crime scene missions. Also the faster animations on the fighting looked really weird.

More after finishing and the rating may change after completing the game.

Metro Redux - PlayStation 4
Bought this because Metro :Last Light is one of the only fps's that I really liked. I remember watching clips of the original when it came but I never got to buying it. All the new stuff (Fallout 4, MGS V and AC) have gone past this but I expect to really like it when i finally play it.

Rating may change after completing the game.

Downloaded this finally and for free (PS+). I play usually few levels and stop so with all the other games I'm not that far but I've already liked the challenge. of some of the levels.
