"Plot: The son of Seth Brundle is a medical marvel courtesy of his father's genes but his corporate overseers are more interested in the eventual horrific outcome of this, rather than his safety. Mediocrity is the name of the game. From lame leads, to cartoonishly evil antagonists, to clunky storytelling and pacing issues, everything feels like a step down. Nevertheless, there is fun to be had in the effects department and the eventual payoff to a particularly gut-wrenching sequence that is best"
