" The very last, of the theatrical released Hellraiser films, and it was supposed to be the end of Pinhead and his buddies. You know, kind of like how Jason and Freddy, were supposed die years ago. Going from Renascence France, to outer space, Pinhead in Space, tracks the origin of the box to โthe end of Pinhead.โ With two directors, and Clive Barker more or less killing off Pinhead in one of his latest books, this marked for many a low point, in the Hellraiser series. “Despite appreciating horror very much (with a lot of classic ones out there, such as 'Halloween', 'Nightmare on Elm Street', 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'The Exorcist', plus the best of Hammer House of Horror), even if not my favourite genre, it took me a while to get round to watching the 'Hellraiser' franchise. Due to having so much to watch and review, and the list keeps getting longer and longer. The film that started the franchise off is not only for me by far the best of the 'Hellraiser' films it also for me, and quite a few others it seems, is one of the stronger horror films of the 80s, though not quite of all time. "I didnโt care for it, at but having rewatched the film..... Itโs actually not that bad of a movie."
" First Viewing Viewing Date: October 18th Via: Shudder Plot: In the 22nd century aboard a spaceship, a scientist attempts to right the wrong his ancestor created: the puzzle box that opens the gates of Hell and unleashes Pinhead and his Cenobite legions. Rating: 5.8/10"
"In space, no one can hear your last scream. Go ahead, scream because noise doesn't travel in space!"
"Re-watch - Oct. 24th I've always enjoyed this film just because it delves into the mythos and history of the Lament Configuration, and that hasn't changed. It's a little odd in that the film treats the box's relationship to its creator & his offspring as something central to its existence after three films of it being passed around among other people, but it keeps the story focused at least. The cenobites look outstanding as always, Pinhead gets some choice moments, and it was especially amusin"
"This was a very unique story (Hellraiser is in general) but I loved where they were going with this one and Angelique is my favorite character of the series. I wish we had seen more of her."
