“To be honest, I had some rather low expectations about this sequel but I thought I might as well check it out anyway. Well, eventually, I really didn’t care much for the damned thing, that’s for sure. Seriously, as far as I was concerned, it felt as if Tobe Hooper had been forced to come up with a sequel for his classic horror film and therefore had decided to completely botched the damned thing. However, it wasn’t apparently the case as, in fact, according to Hooper, the really weird black humor was actually already present in the previous installment, it’s just that we didn’t notice it back then because of all the horror going on. Anyway, this sequel was basically some kind of rather weird feverish nightmare and, I know, I make it now sound more appealing than it actually was. ” read more
