"3 out of 5 - Watched 2015. Rewatched 2021. I tried to watch this 2x and lost interest somewhere in the middle. Finally made it through on the third watch. I watched it again in 2021 and bumped it up to a 3. Some really f*kced up kills in this one, although I don't think there was a ton of actual gore? I'm bad at judging. There seemed to be some plot threads left dangling. Maybe I watched a chopped-up cut of the film. "
"13.9. Blu-ray Tässä on suurinpiirtein kaikki giallon troopit (tai kliseet, kuinka vaan), mutta tuntuu kuitenkin mahottoman tuoreelta, ehkä jopa ainutlaatuiselta. Ja kuten kys. alagenrelle kuuluukin, niin mitä vähemmän elokuvasta tietää ennakkoon, sen parempi. Viskicolapäissään myös paikoin hyvin hauska. Erillismaininnan arvoisena, kylpyammemurhassa on aivan saatanan hienoa laajakulmalinssi-pov-kuvausta."
" I don't get why this film is so well-received or considered one of the best giallos! I found it very bland and sterile, devoid of the allure that Argento or Martino's films possess. This film is more of a police procedural, and has too many dry dialogue scenes rather than action or compelling scenarios. Fabio Testi is supposed to be the proverbial Chad of the film, who teaches at a school and all his underage students want to smash. Isn't that illegal lmao? The 1970s was fucked. A killer wh"
"First viewing - July 22nd Giallo Fest Of the three films I watched over the weekend this was my least favorite, though still well worth a look. My biggest problem is the lack of characters to really latch onto in any meaningful way, but the mystery aspects help make up for that weakness somewhat. The pacing could have been better too, but overall the story kept me engaged enough that I walked away satisfied with having seen it but not especially impressed."
"One of the better giallos out there. Incredibly sleazy, with a lot of suspicious looking characters, macabre kills, a killer soundtrack and some good ol' twists and turns along the way."
