Unforgettable classic.

On hieno."
“I saw Stand By Me yesterday for the first time in one and a half years, (I'm 17) and I absolutely loved it, and it is definitely one of my favourite Stephen King adaptations. I will say I absolutely loved Shawshank Redemption, and despite the fact that it was unfaithful to the book, and badly flawed, I liked It too.Stand By Me, based on the novella by Stephen King, which I admit I haven't read, not only has a wonderfully engaging story, but it is both funny and moving. This is helped by the strong and wholly believable performances from the entire cast that include Kiefer Sutherland, John Cusack, Wil Wheaton, Corey Feldman, Jerry O'Conell and River Pheonix especially. The script was very well-crafted, and the film tells brilliantly of the values of friendship and standing together. "One of my favourite films as a kid, still one of my favourites, and a movie that got me into 80s films and literally movies altogether. I love all the main characters and their backgrounds; as well as the directing, acting, plot, and whole aesthetic in general, it always makes me cultivate a warm, fuzzy feeling which I find very rare in films. Overall a must-watch for literally anyone and a wonderful, relatable, timeless classic that may or may not stay with you for years to come"

" Notes: Honestly, I thought this movie was pretty good but I didn't expect it to be so intense. Indeed, it is easily the best movie dealing with children that I have ever seen. It is widely known that to make a movie with children is one of the most difficult things for multiple reasons and most of the features dealing with this subject are either phony or terribly condescending. Not this flick though. Indeed, for once, Stephen King dropped his horror shenanigans and instead wrote a simple but "
