American Psycho (2000)
Not overrated at all, but I don't like how some teenagers on social media praise this film so highly.

Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Bro this is literally my favourite film of all time. No film will ever compare to how amazing this one is and I honestly love everything about it. 10/10 now and forever. It's a masterpiece

Joker (2019)
Watched on the 19th and 26th of January (my dad wanted to watch it again with me, but I watched it with my cousin last week)

Donnie Darko (2001)
I don't know why I didn't like this film as much as I thought I would. I mean, I put my full attention into it and never once went on my phone. But still, nothing surprised me and I honestly found it underwhelming. The acting was fine, directing mid, but it was the plot that bored me out and I honestly don't know why! Anyway, I hope I can watch this again and form a different, more positive judgement on Donnie Darko, but I was very disappointed by so many things about it...

The Godfather: Part II (1974)
*SPOILERS*
Though I prefer the first Godfather instalment, Part 2 was just as amazing, and enjoyable. Talia Shire and Diane Keaton were noticeably much better in their performances as Connie Corleone and Kay Adams, thank god. However, I don't think Talia's performance was worthy of an Oscar nomination but she did much better in this one although it wasn't as good as it, in my opinion, should've been. Michael Corleone was a petty, whiny little bitch halfway through which saddened me because I had high expectations for him. Props to Al Pacino, once again, he's truly the best actor in this damned thing. Fredo didn't deserve to die, but in the world of the Godfather it doesn't take a lot for someone to deserve to die, even if it's your own blood. Tom Hagan was mid, but I wish Calo made an appearance or even they showing Fabrizio's death, whether it be he was gunned down by Michael or blown up. It's shown in the 7 hour version, but honestly they could've just put one of those scenes in here.
Overall, the Godfather Part II is a must-watch for those who've seen the first part and have enjoyed it, and a great film in general that may, or may not have the capability to be viewed as a standalone
7/10

Stand by Me (1986)
One of my favourite films as a kid, still one of my favourites, and a movie that got me into 80s films and literally movies altogether. I love all the main characters and their backgrounds; as well as the directing, acting, plot, and whole aesthetic in general, it always makes me cultivate a warm, fuzzy feeling which I find very rare in films. Overall a must-watch for literally anyone and a wonderful, relatable, timeless classic that may or may not stay with you for years to come

What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993)
I'll admit whilst watching this flick & Mean Streets I did play Subway Surfers so I could stop pulling at my hair haha (I have trichotillomania), but overall I tried to keep in touch with the story as best as I could ;)

Inglourious Basterds (2009)
BROOOO I never knew Christoph Waltz won a BAFTA award and AN ACADEMY AWARD for this movie and Django Unchained. you go Christoph, fuckin' amazing

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
My perspective: Two dickhead asshole brothers are the centre of Dusk Til Dawn. With no personality apart from being murderous jerks, one is a sex offender as well as something else that leads to his arrests, the other is the oldest and dubs himself an 'amazing thief' sum shit like that. They kill people for personal reasons or none at all, blah blah. Of course this leads to the FBI desperately trying to find them so then they force three innocent civilians to drive them to by van to Mexico where they meet at this strip club and this big plot twist happens and then almost everyone dies. Like literally no one had a personality in this movie and I only felt bad for those 3 civilians who were dragged on this trip by risk of their life!!!!!!! And the acting, the only slightly good one was the dad!!!!5/10
