"Re-watch - Dec. 31st Both times I watched IT this year I kept thinking about Stand By Me, so I wanted to revisit it before the year ended. It's still astounding to me how well acted the film is. We all know now that the four boys who played the main roles kept acting beyond this film, but while child actors often can't pull off dramatic roles very well they completely nail their respective roles. "2014/02/28 first viewing with Kendra @home on DVD Interesting story that I had missed when it first came out. Holy potty mouths, though; it seemed unnecessary and I can respect my mother's reluctance to let me see it as a kid. Fun to see a bunch of actors I recognize but much younger. "
