" Meet Otto. He's a clean-cut kid in a dirty business. He's a Repo Man. He steals cars legally. Now, he's out to repossess a '64 Chevy Malibu...with an amazing reward of $20,000. But Otto is not alone. There are others who want the car and will do anything to get it. The risks are great, because hidden in the trunk is something so incredible it could destroy them all. We'll give you a hint... it glows in the dark. The film featured earlier performances by Emilio Estevez and Miguel Sandoval, a"

"Literalmente un país de primer mundo hace una película de tercer mundo. Se parece a esas típicas películas de criminales latinoamericanas: llenas de degeneración, groserías, promiscuidad y violencia absurda. Lo único diferente que tiene es que la hicieron bastante bizarra agregándoles aliens WTF. "

“Disclaimer: "Repo Man" is contentious and experimental in terms of exposition, form and tone; one must refrain from expatiating its shortcomings and deviations as this will directly impact the overall experience of its satirical underscoring and unrepentant subversive social commentary. Lacking a tightly written plot in the formal, strictest sense, the film's interrelated activity and consecutive, fluid scenes exist within a cumulative schematic, which is to say that its core values register progressively rather than from the outset. Despite its refusal to adhere to a definitive format or texture, surrender yourself to the characters and their bizarre, wacky interactions without scrutinising its style-over-substance construction and you will be rewarded with a de facto narrative that glori” read more

" Date: 8/31/2019 Viewed: Blu-Ray Re-watch Note: I haven't seen this movie in over 15 years and this movie is still amazing. I love this movie because there is not a single boring moment. The plot is simple, but there is a lot of depth going on in the movie. The movie has a great social commentary on 80s America. I love how the movie explores the themes of being controlled and the things as they are can continue uncontested. The movie also has a great soundtrack and stylish visuals. I highly"

"The utter weirdness of Alex Cox’s remarkable debut—a document of L.A.’s hardcore punk scene that’s also an ode to its car culture, a critique of the American middle class, and a kind-of sci-fi comedy about a radioactive Chevy Malibu—would seem to preclude its existence. And yet here it is. More than 30 years later, the film is no worse for the wear. Not so much ahead of its time as outside of it, the film’s L.A. punk particularities have broadened over the years. Its ennui has endure"
