"If I am not me, then who the hell am I?"

What do you get when you merge Paul Verhoeven's ability for directing ultra-violent action films with the conventions of an Arnold Schwarzenegger action vehicle? The answer is Total Recall; an exciting, thought-provoking and violent science fiction action spectacle. The movie's plot was taken from Philip K. Dick's short story We Can Remember... read more

As a kid, I really loved this flick and I'm planning to see this one soon with Nick, my step-son. I remember, back then, I thought it was a fascinating story and I had to watch it a couple of times before understanding it properly (give me a break... I was 10-12 years old!). The best thing about this movie is that it works on so many levels. It is entertaining, it takes place on Mars, there are t... read more

Movies I Watched in June 2020 (34 movies items)

" Date: 6/12/2020 Viewed: Blu-Ray (2012 remaster edition) Re-Watch Note: Seeing that this movie recently turn 30 years old, I decided to revisit it. This movie is still awesome after 30 years later in my opinion. The action sequences are great and the special effects are still fantastic. You also have a good cast of memorable characters and a story that makes you think about what it is real or not. You can always tell that this movie is a clear inspiration for The Matrix and other Sci-Fi movies"

" Don't fuck with your brain, pal! It ain't worth it! This is tagged as a horror film but I'm not sure it actually is. Definitely worth watching thought, is there anything more charming and fascinating than the distant future as portrayed by movies from 1980-1999? The intersection between our fashion and style of the times, our technology fads, "
