These are the words of Angus Scrimm.
An underrated actor who deserved to be more appreciated because of his role of the demonic, sadistic and malicious Tall Man, who is one of my favorite villains in all of fiction. This movie may be confusing but the acting, scares, Story, kills, effects and soundtrack are ... read more

"Watched on: July 19-20th, 2023. Not the greatest classic horror flick of the late 70's, but not bad either. Pacing was a bit weird, but I enjoyed the main three characters as well as "Tall Man" himself. Blood effects were great as well as the musical score."
"Plot: Something is enacting a bizarre and insidious plot in a quiet Oregonian town and a young boy's life is about to get far more complicated than it already was. Part coming of age story, part nightmare fugue, part horror, part sci-fi, and all around strange. Phantasm is a movie that, should you let it get its hooks into you, will never let go. Rife with iconic characters and moments and unlike anything you've ever seen. "
"Re-watch - Sept. 25th I couldn't let my Saturday night end on a bum note, so I watched the Remastered version of Phantasm in which the film looks and sounds better than ever before. And look, if you don't dig Phantasm then I don't know what to say to you."
"Even small shiny objects, can kill! If you can't trust your nightmares, then what can you trust?"

An underrated actor who deserved to be more appreciated because of his role of the demonic, sadistic and malicious Tall Man, who is one of my favorite villains in all of fiction. This movie may be confusing but the acting, scares, Story, kills, effects and soundtrack are memorably great and well executed.
