"I felt like I was the only fan of this movie when I was a kid. Nobody had heard of it and those that had didn't love it like I did. It was special to me and I longed to live with the characters in it. Full of unique imagery and ideas, Phantasm still managed to be a fun coming of age story about a kid in suburbia. As I grew the rest of the movies in the series grew with me and I hold them as near and dear to my heart as I did the first one. "
" Date: 3/30/2019 Viewed: Blu-Ray Rewatch Note: I decided to rewatch Phantasm for the 40th anniversary and the movie is still awesome. The disquieting atmosphere in this movie is top notch and it really helps make this movie feel scary. Tall Man is a great horror movie villain for how creepy and mysterious that he is. The acting in the movie is not that bad as well. I highly recommend this movie! "

Kökkö tuotanto ja kehno näytteleminen - toki kummatkin budjetin takia juuri näin - eivät haittaa pahemmin, koska tämän kanssa viihtyy. Elokuva on sopivan pituinen kaiken lisäksi. Kyllä niitä huonompiakin tapoja aloittaa elokuvasarja voi olla."
" Familiar Actors: A. Michael Baldwin Bill Thornbury Reggie Bannister Kathy Lester and Angus Scrimm True Rating: 6/10 This is the first of a series that Don Coscarelli started writing and directing. The one that pulled in a cult following and made it so I had to see what the fuss was all about. I thought it was pretty decent. It wasn't greatness like I was expecting it to be, but I could see why it's a cult classic. It had some cool ideas and moments. Also I loved the ending. The acting is pr"
