Funny as hell, I recommend it if you're ever bored, but also if you're a fan of Sasquatch and don't take the subject too seriously. Enjoy!

Probably one of the worst Bigfoot-based films I've ever seen. The strange cuts / transitions to the back-and-forth acting... it's just weirdly edited. I could count like 5 scenes going from one to another in like 3 minutes, it was ridiculous. The Bigfoot(s) were white and terrible looking, weren't even tall... they were like 6 ft. at most. Hell, at one point the kid in the film knocks over a Bigfoot with a bat (easily), even incapacitating it before one of the grown-ups steps in. This film is just... baaaad!

Savage (2011)
Watched on: December 28th, 2023.
Pretty decent, but not the best Bigfoot movie in the world. I've definitely seen better, but the tone was right for what it was. The Bigfoot in itself (the creature) was a bit different than other more conventional versions that most would imagine, which is.. fine (for the most part). I do find it funny though that a supposed 7-9ft / 400-600lbs "Bigfoot" could be acrobatic and cat-like in it's movement... despite being so big. Altho, this Bigfoot in particular did NOT look very big, so.. I guess they were going for a more "lean-but-mean machine" approach?
Anyway, decent Bigfoot film for sure, I recommend it for binging-purposes.

Drawing Flies (1996)
Watched on: December 28th, 2023.
Pretty good for what it was, being Jason Lee's first role, having the same low-budget / school project-esque tone to the overall film. Dialogue was actually pretty decent, very realistic. Jason losing his shit as time went on, really showcasing the down-spiral of his sanity was well done imo. Anyways, if you haven't checked this film out before, it's on Youtube for free (which is how I watched it) and I definitely recommend it.

A very weird movie to say the least.. but not a bad movie. Bigfoot, as I assumed (and I was wrong) was going to be the main antagonist of the film, but no... we got a crazy supernatural element to it in which zombies are witchcraft of some sort is involved. The whole movie goes from regular "out in the woods and attacked by bigfoot" to a completely different plot emerging. But once again, despite the craziness and overall shift in tone of the film, it's not bad. Give it a watch if you ever have the time or day to binge a b-movie from the late 80's.. that's all I gotta say.

It was as mediocre as a sci-fi original movie can be. A very messy CGI-filled "horror" film. Gore was okay, the acting was decent, but... the actual "abominable snowman" itself (there's two btw), is horrid looking. Makes you wish it would've just been a guy in a suit instead, but.. no, we get a very ugly-looking CG-monster that doesn't even look like a typical Yeti or Bigfoot, but instead, we get a giant-sloth / short-faced bear looking hybrid of a monster.
Overall, it was... okay, but I'll never watch it again. Nuff said.

Hideaway (1995)
Watched on: December 4th, 2023.
It was... alright. Not a bad movie in all means... but.. it could've been shorter, had more of a .. "worth-a-shit" ending, but I guess, maybe I was hoping for too much? Kinda gave off a Cape Fear movie-vibe tbh. The CGI tho... wow, terrible. I almost shut off the movie before it could go on, but thankfully I stuck around, because that "VFX" was absolutely horseshit quality.
Mediocre film at the end of the day.

Not the greatest thing I've ever seen, but also not the worst. The tone of the film was a bit off... kinda reminded me of the dark nature of Solomon Kane, but then the humor was similar to A Knight's Tale. I really couldn't tell what it was trying to be. I think if it was treated with more of a serious undertone and a bit more thoughtful of its cast... it could've came off as a better movie of the 2010's. Anyways.. not bad.

Retribution (1987)
Watched on: November 29-30th, 2023.
Not bad, loved the gore effects, the main character was.. tolerable. The story itself was pretty decent. Problems with the film itself? Length of time and some of the acting comes off as annoying. Main character's "panic state" was obnoxious and would never stop. Many scenes would just drag. The only real redeeming factors for this flick are the death scenes and that's really it. Mediocre 80's horror movie. That's all I gotta say.

Would've been great to actually see Sasquatch for more than 30 seconds... but whatever, it's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but in terms of a Bigfoot flick.. you know, the product that people want to see? .. its absolute garbage. But.. overall mediocre as a film in itself.

Probably one of the best Bigfoot-based horror flicks I've seen in a long time, kinda mad that I missed this one when it came out, very underrated / overlooked imo. Squatch design was different, but in a good way. Gore effects were on point and the death-count was top-notch! Overall, impressive!

It was alright. Dragged a lot, but it's to be expected if it's about a trial. I thought I'd see more of the prison lifestyle, but that fell short, it was mostly Christian Slater being a rookie attorney. It was decent tho.

Not bad, not great, it was okay. The chemistry between Eastwood and Sheen was pretty good, the only real problem with the film is its runtime. Not all action movies need to be 2 hours long, actually.. most of them don't need to be 2 hours long and this just happens to be one of them.

Clint Eastwood, once again, pulls off another brilliant film, even if it is more of one of his lesser-known, it still brings some of his trademarks, that being of course, snarky attitude but with a serious undertone. The way it ends too, it just sort of solidifies the whole point of the film. Real life chaos is not always pretty and is sometimes not worth filming or making it the core element of a story. Of course, this is not in any regard as one of Eastwood's "classics", but it's definitely up there in terms of his more underrated.

Yah, Idk about this one. Probably is the weakest of the bunch overall. Not much to say, other than I believe the reboot trilogy was far superior, from how it began to how it ended. Caesar in this one as well as its predecessor aged poorly imo, but they aren't crap, just very mediocre. With that said, that's the last of the original series and I say I'd give the overall a series a 7/10.

Honestly, I thought this one was the weaker sequel of its predecessors, but it wasn't terrible or anything. I think it lacked maybe good characters to follow besides Caesar himself? The score was good and I liked the blood effects. The final dialogue spoken from Caesar (played by Roddy McDowall) was awesome and was (imo) the highlight of the film. Overall, it was mediocre, but not terrible.

Depressing, dark, but realistic to a certain extent. Afterall, it is about a man going through many situations at once and can't prioritize one thing at a time, he must obsess over many things, which.. brings us to the nihilism and cynicism that drives this film and ends this film. Damn good!

Shitty typical Hollyweird-satanic / pagan cult type of film.. where nothing happens, the supposed "creature" is just a person (and more) who wear stupid animal hide / skull masks. Wow, not bad. I really enjoyed this flick! We actually got killer scarecrows this time around. It's sorta like Predator but with scarecrows... but the actual mercenaries are badguys (and girl), in which the scarecrows off one-by-one. The gore is there (thank God!) as well as the eerie / suspenseful-sort of motif being present. Yah, not the greatest horror movie of all-time (mind you), but definitely a classic in my book!

Not bad, but... not seeing the actual scarecrow killer until the very, very end? Kinda felt cheated. The design of the scarecrow was pretty cool and only seeing it for a few seconds wasn't enough. I get that it's supposed to be suspenseful, not knowing if Bubba (the scarecrow) is actually doing the killings or not; it comes off as more of a vengeful spirit more than an actual tangible being. Anyways... it was decent for what it was.

What a weird ass movie... the usage of "O Fortuna" at the end of the movie was odd and unexpected, definitely did NOT work with what going on visually. The girlfriend character turns evil and just walks away and is never to be seen again. Everyone basically dies... I still don't understand wtf was going on the whole time. Dialogue you could either hear slightly or not at all, subtitles didn't help considering they didn't pick up on half the words that were being said. Yah... screw this film.
