"Sonora Desert, Arizona Located somewhere in Arizona. It’s one of the largest desert areas, in America. Why you wouldn’t want to visit: Mile of nothing anywhere, and possibly cannibalistic families."

"Plot: A family becomes stranded in the Californian desert, soon becoming pray to a roving band of cannibal freaks. Something of a mix between backwoods horror and atomic age monster tropes that, as a result, feels very much its own thing. Packed with some striking moments of shock and a gritty atmosphere, Hills works more as exploitation fare than overt classic. "

"Off the beaten bath? Please, you won’t survive out there for very long."

" Notes: Eventually, I thought it was pretty good but I can't say I was really blown away by the whole thing. Indeed, basically, it has the qualities and default of many vintage horror flicks. On the bright side, it displayed a really raw feeling and I really enjoyed the mood. On the downside, many things which were shocking back then don´t move you much nowadays and the whole thing looked rather cheap. But still, it is a great catchy title and some scenes were pretty messed up (in a good way) "

The Hills Have Eyes oli etunenässä, kun Future Film lykkäsi leikkaamatonta kauhua liikenteeseen. En tosin tiedä tämän saksimishistoriasta, ensitarkistuskin on teetetty "

" Often as vile and horrifying as it should be, but I also found it to be a bit too goofy at times. Detracting from the tension that the film kept trying to amplify. Shockingly enough, I prefer the remake. "
“When I first watched it, I got scared for the dogs getting killed and turned it off! When I finally grew a pair, I ended up enjoying it and I was sorta wrong about the dogs getting killed (only one died sadly poor thing) and the film was exciting and well acted. This was well done for a film like this and I wish Wes Craven were still here so I can ask, “How did you make a gory masterpiece like this”. This film is definitely one of my favorites” read more
