Well, em, hmm....that was pretty, very, really so fucked up. A lot. From the beggining until the end.

But even with the clearly enormous budget, the gigantic deviation from the original plot, and all the exagerated(and still cool) action sequences, it somehow manages to keep the old evangelion spirit alive. With new characters, old characters in new costumes, old charactes in new bod... read more

14 years have passed since the near third impact. Most of the world has changed except Shinji Ikari who awakens, unaged in a new and strange environment. Misato has formed a group that has is separate from Nerv. The fight is far from over but the biggest struggle might be against humans and former allies.

My biggest disappointments in entertainment (138 tv items)

"Rebuild of Evangelion, another unnecessary addition to something amazing that ended in a somewhat satisfactory way. To its credit, the first one is a good tribute, and the second one, despite distancing itself a lot from the original, still preserved some of its magic. So we had reasons to be positive about this one, and it pissed all over us. They started with a huge time skip, used too much cgi, the characters were all rewritten and the pacing and the tone were all over the place, plus amnesia"
