Always a pleasure watching Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason and Martin Landau on Mount Rushmore. One of all-time favorites among Hitchcock's films, "North by Northwest" comes in the middle of his "golden era" (just before "Psycho" and "The Birds", and after "Vertigo").

Ricomincio da tre (1981) (1981)
A clever comedy about a young man who leaves Naples and moves to Florence to start over. He doesn't start from zero, though. He starts from three, the number of the few good things he did in his life. Southern Italy's traditions meet "Northern" modernity, and new kinds of relationships between men and women... How will they interact? Memorable debut film by and with great Massimo Troisi. Loved it at the time, and still love it. Read more

Pretty Persuasion (2005)
