The formula he has made millions on is frat humor followed by a stupid noise. No punchlines, just flailing and yelling and immature humor aimed at 13 year old boys. Luckily for him there are a lot of stupid teenagers that eat up his stuff, regardless if it's actually funny or his own material.
I think this brilliantly shows what he is all about. (embedding is disabled.)

(And... he's just too good looking to be a stand-up comedian. Let's face it, ugly comedians are funnier.)

Made a career off of funny voices and reinforcing racial stereotypes... Come to my high school and you'll understand. I don't mind racism in comedy as long as it's good-humored and funny. Jeff Dunham actually makes me uncomfortable and I sort of just stare at the TV in amazement while I watch his shows.
Not to mention the material is just bland and I've heard it all thousands of times from much funnier comedians. The only difference is that this guy has funny looking puppets.

The Larry the Cable Guy way of comedy: bad analogy, gay bash, Git-R-Done, racist, Git-R-Done, Git-R-Done, Git-R-Done... What the hell does Git-R-Done mean anyway? How is that funny at all, and why is it on the bumpers of every pick up on earth?
There is a strange group of people "proud to be a redneck" (most of them seem to have collected in my area...), and he probably knows that he'd be a hack comedian without his fake persona.
Lazy comedy with too many poop, fart and dick jokes. I am fine with stupid humor, as long as it's done well.

I've watched about 15 minutes of one stand-up but it's enough for me to hate him. I disliked him enough when he was just a douche on TV, but his stand-up cemented his place as a disgrace to comedy that only appeals to fellow douches.
Honestly might be the worst stand up comedian I have ever seen. He's not at the top because most people know he's the worst.

Somehow even more homophobic and racist than Larry the Cable Guy, I find nothing appealing about him. He's annoying and has a voice like a cheese grater is tearing apart his vocal chords.
From what I've seen, he has zero sense of humor outside of his work and seems to get pretty damn uppity.

Painful. Simply painful to watch. Not exactly stand-up in the sense of the others on the list, but I'm letting it slide.
His jokes are delivered with no emotion and the jokes themselves are so tired and predictable that it actually is a bit embarrassing. It kind of reminds me of my uncle at holidays trying to tell a story. Everyone sort of fakes a laugh to make him feel important.

"When I was a kid we didn't have (blank)", then she sings with a screechy banshee voice. I've only seen half of one show, but I think that was more than enough for me to understand why I hate her as a stand-up comedian.
Terribly boring and godawfully unfunny, not just in stand up, but in movies as well. (Seriously, has he ever been in a good movie?)
BRODO's rating:

I didn't like him in King of Queens, and I don't particularly like his stand up. Can't we get away from the old re-hashed comedy that stand-up comedians have been using for decades?
BRODO's rating:

Don't get me wrong, I like Bill Maher, I enjoyed Religulous, and I agree with him on some points. But his stand up I could not get into. I think he should take notes from Buster Keaton and keep a stone face while cracking jokes. Laughing at your own jokes destroy a punchline for me, it's just not funny, and it is cringe-worthy to watch Bill crack up at himself.
BRODO's rating:

I am not too picky with stand up comedy. It doesn't have to be too thought provoking or even outrageously hilarious. It's a simple, Friday night hobby. But there are some comedians that I just cannot get into and cannot find funny.
