More often than not, Hollywood doesn’t have the best track record, when it comes with the depiction of African American history, especially during the 80’s. Since they were written, produced, and directed by Whites. More films about African American history, needs to be produced, written, and starring African Americans, so the stories can be taught with proper context, and representation.
