"First viewing - May 9th Little Richard passed away this weekend, so I wanted to watch something with him in it. This was apparently my "best" option. They do make an odd choice in having Richard play a character that's not himself yet plays piano and sings just like him. His music even features elsewhere in the film, making the choice to cast him as someone else more baffling. They could've just let him be Little Richard. Aside from that the movie is okay.
