“Reporter Sue Charlton (Linda Kozlowski) heads to the Outback to track down the mythical Mick "Crocodile" Dundee (Paul Hogan), who purportedly survived a croc attack and crawled his way back to safety, only to quickly find out that the tales are tale in the land down under. However, the truth is a lot more wild than any legend. Soon, the two find themselves flirting with danger (and each other) and it is not long before Mick finds himself a fish out of water in Sue's home of New York. Hijinks ensue.
Love it or hate it, one thing cannot be denied about this 80's comedy and that it packs a wallop with its incredibly charming lead actor, Paul Hogan. The rough charisma practically oozes off the screen, quickly endearing him to the viewing audience. Not to suggest that the supporting” read more

" "Well, you see, Aborigines don't own the land. They belong to it. It's like their mother. See those rocks? Been standing there for 600 million years. Still be there when you and I are gone. So arguing over who owns them is like two fleas arguing over who owns the dog they live on." "I was considering buying the Blu-ray 2 pack of CD 1 & 2 but when I found it on DVD at the Goodwill I had to buy it. Mick Dundee is a big part of my childhood and I feel like both these films hold up well today, the first being a fish out of water, gritty NYC film and the second a sort of big budget Ozploitation movie (but with more of an 80's American film sensibility). The first and best of the series
“While decidedly languid and a tad too short, this is the first and best of the tales about the Australian living legend. The scenery and cinematography are very nice, and there are entertaining and somewhat informative parts in the script. The story is engaging too, and has both funny and quite tense bits. The direction is fine, and the acting is good enough. Paul Hogan is a very likable, charismatic and funny hero, and Linda Kozslowski is decent support. As for the sequels, the second was inferior but passable but the third isn't really worth bothering with. This though, while not perfect is the real deal and works as solid entertainment. 8/10 Bethany Cox” read more

" Once, when I was engaging with a couple of fellow cinephiles about some of the best exports to have ever come out from Australian cinema, someone mentioned this one "Crocodile Dundee". Which instantly made me realize that, even though I saw it when it was first released in theaters, it's one of movies that I had completely forgotten about. TBH, when I search my memory, this only part that comes to mind is a scene which features the lovely Linda Kozlowski in a thong! So, I decided to watch i"
