Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel - Xbox 360

How in the world does this franchise keep on getting made? The first two entries were major letdowns and now EA drops the ball for the third time. This game should only be played with a fried over a few drinks. There are many issues affecting this title for reaching its' full potential. Too many to list here. So close, EA, yet so far.

Medal of Honor - PC Games

This game ties so much to make you feel like the ultimate Spec Ops badass, but fails miserably. Everything that the Call of Duty series seems to fail at this title seems to relish in. The graphics are horribly outdated, the single player lasts about five hours and the dialog feels...I don't know...forced.
You have played this before, trust me.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 - Playstation 3 - PlayStation 3

If you are looking for a title to play inbetween titles let me suggest this. It is east to play yet difficult to master. Pick it up at your local GameStop for $9.99.

Mafia II - PC Games

I finally finished Mafia II recently because of the dammed game freezing glitch that happens around...oh, I don't know the entire fucking game! Anyways, I really wanted to play this title again because I purchased it with all of the DLC included: Joe's Adventures, The Betrayal of Jimmy, and Jimmy's Vendetta. All of these side stories are loads of fun to play, with the exception of I, personally do not like to be timed on every goddammed mission on the game. It takes away from just enjoying it and makes you haste away at even the smallest detail. I wish that there was an option to turn it off. Nevertheless, the DLC is plenty of fun and are welcome additions to the lure of Empire City.
BioShock Infinite - PlayStation 3

Did the gaming community ever have a doubt that this would be awesome! I loved every damn minute of this title. Who knew a game about racists who build a city in the sky could be so engaging? (Yes, I know the game is much more than that.)
Mr. Lays's rating:

Sleeping Dogs - PlayStation 3

Somebody asked me if this title was nothing more that GTA, but with Asian people in Hong Kong. That statement isn't correct at all. Sleeping Dogs gets plenty of things right (i.e. combat, storyline, mini games), but simple things such as shooting feels oddly put of place.
Overall, a great title developed by United Front.
Also, for fans of the first title it has been announced that a sequel is in the works.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss - PlayStation Vita

I browed a fellow coworker's PSPVita and played non-stop on this title. I was a bit skeptical, I must admit. Usually prequels and downsized triple A titles don't fair very well, damn was I ever surprised! My sole complaint would be that at times the touch screen controls feel tacked on. Not very organic. Anyways, another fantastic entry to the Uncharted franchise.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game - PlayStation Network

I love the 8-bit beat-em' up route that Universal decided to take for this game. It just works with the overall feel of the film as well. My biggest gripe though is how the Ubisoft Montrel handled online multiplayer. What a fucking joke!
Mr. Lays's rating:

Spec Ops: The Line - PlayStation 3

This title simply deserves more sales than it received. It is, simply put amazing. It tells a story that Call of Duty and other Alpha Male FPS shy away from: the absolute horrors of war. It isn't pretty. Theories about the game have also risen which adds to replay value. Also, listen the stellar voice work of Nolan North (best known for being the voice of Uncharted's Nathan Drake).
The only real con would be the tacked on multi player. It was really just to add another check to the back of the box.
Mr. Lays's rating:

Grand Theft Auto V - PlayStation 3

What an amazing experience to release near the end of last generation's life span. This game brings new meaning to the often used gaming word "sandbox". Three intertwining stories make some excellent script writing and biting social commentary. What more can I possibly say that you haven't heard already? Go out and purchase this title already!
Mr. Lays's rating:

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Game of the Year Edition)... - PlayStation 3

This is my first Uncharted title and I am kicking myself for not playing this sooner. Oh well, better late than never, I suppose. I love this game!
Even the multiplayer kicks ass!
Mr. Lays's rating:

I didn't have a clever name for the title so 'Game Diary' it is. Titles that I have played new and old. (This list only shows the titles that I have completed at least one play through.) Ranked form worst to best played this year. Enjoy.
