Now the film Mystery Men when first released wasn't a huge success financial or critically. Honestly I can see why this film can come across as more of an acquired taste. But, for me I loved it! I loved the cast, I love the comedy, and most of all I loved the concept. The idea of wannabe superheros trying to do good with inferior powers is very cool and interesting. Ben Stiller gives a hilarious performance as Mr. Furious and is totally relate able. I mean we've all must have felt that time when we were in someone else's shadow and we tried our best to do good but never got credit or thanks for trying. Basically, this film is a cult status film and I'd give it a watch for some fun entertainment.

Now "Clue" has gathered a bit of a cult following over the years. Now adapting a classic board game to the silver screen would be difficult but not impossible and I believed this film succeeded. It does start off a bit slow but once the film gets to the main event it really takes off from there. An excellent cast of characters as well especially Tim Curry who really breathes life into his role; just by looking at the guy you can tell he's having a blast :) It's a great mystery story that knows how to balance the comedy pretty well and that's something to applaud. Plus, as a bonus it has "THREE DIFFERENT ENDINGS" I've read that it theaters certain theaters only showed one ending out of the three but don't quote me on that. Basically, it was a funny film with a fun cast and great set up. Definitively give it a watch and while you're at it grab that Clue board and have a game with your friends :)

Broadway Danny Rose (1984)
This is probably one of the greatest films I've ever seen from the Woody Allen selection. The dialogue in this film is pure gold. I'm either busting out laughing or getting my heart wrenched out of my chest. Mr. Allen has a rare gift that not many film makers have, "The ability to make his audience feel true emotions of all varieties." The story follows Danny Rose told from an interesting narrative as a talent agent who can never seem to get a break. Not because he doesn't know how to do his job perfectly in fact he's over qualified for his job (yeah he's that good). However, every time he gets a real piece of talent to work with the walk out on him and find a more "professional" agent to market them in the big leagues. Plus, Danny has a heart of gold and also reaches out to help other people looking for fame and fortune even though he knows they are terrible in the show business. Without giving too much away Danny get's a real piece of talent that he knows can make it but the guy's got a problem, a woman :D let's just say this film will make you laugh might make you cry and just bring your inner emotions to the outside. I'd highly recommend it and I know I'll be sure to re-watch it again in the near future.
