I know when you’re talking about someone with a drug problem and such, it’s a little bit iffy, but, I don’t know how about you all, but he seemed more like the person who had it together, so, I think that’s what surprised me when he entered rehab. When he was out, once again, I thought hey, he probably has it together now and knows best. When he turned up dead, well, it was upsetting. He could have been a poster kid on how to put your life back on tracks…

No, no, no, no, no! Toni, I still respect you! Don’t do this! “/ I’ve already expressed here (I mean in this website) the fact that I’m not a fan of DiCaprio and the whole model dating thing, and I think Toni is too much for him! But then, once again, Leonardo strikes back and dates a VS girl… And to think I was so glad he seemed to have found someone outside the catalog to date, even if it was just briefly.

Francisco Lachowski marries

I think a great deal of the women community who accompanies the fashion world and such was a little bit upset to hear the news that Francisco had tied the knot with French-Canadian model Jessiann Gravel. But my problem isn’t with the fact he’s gotten married, it’s just that I think he’s too much for her. Him and Toni, that’s a couple I would have liked to see (hahaha). But, well, they have a baby now, and thank goodness the kid looks like him!

Amanda Bynes continues on her trail of (self-)destruction...

Last year one of the news that upset me was the fact that Amanda Bynes had seemed to go out of tracks. Now we know for sure that’s what’s happened, and I think her being committed was actually a good thing, cause I sincerely had no idea what else to expect from her… She seriously seemed to need help…

Emma Roberts arrested for domestic violence?

Yeah, I heard that happened in Canada. She and boyfriend were at a hotel there and the neighbors started hearing noises and called the police. She was taken in because he was the one with the visible injure. Since no files were charged, she hasn’t gotten it on the record, but, this kind of news no one really confirms… It makes me wonder, what in the world is happening with those child stars?

Renee Alway pulls a "Britney"?

If you saw her on America's Next Top Model, you probably remember one of the biggest things about her was actually how she was always talking about her daughter and, well, wanting to give her daughter a better life. And now, well, I wonder what happened not all that many years after that happened...
Apparently (most likely) Renee has encountered the drugs and even shaved her head before appearing in front of the court, rumor has it, so that her hair wouldn't give away the things she'd been doing in the past... Tsc, tsc, tsc... Maybe I didn't exactly see her as a model, but considering everything, I had higher expectations from her...

August Schellenberg dies...

I have childhood memories of him as being that nice old guy from Free Willy. I don't remember seeing him in other things though, but, I bet everyone who's watched the movie had some sort of empathy towards this guy. Anyway, it's sad to see how cancer makes one more victim...

Miley Cyrus somehow manages to denigrate the female image



Let's be clear that I don't like Miley, I think she's a bad example for youth all over the place and et cetera, but I wonder, how far down must one go before one, or people around that one, realize this person needs help? Because the VMA presentation was really degrading, not only for her, but for women all over who have been fighting so hard to be recognized as something more than a body; then Miley comes along and screws everything. Yeah, great doing, thanks! ¬¬' People all over are ashamed for you. Great job.

So, may it be clear that I'm not upset because of her, I'm upset because of all the other women who are nothing like that, but will continue to be seen as such.

Candice Swanepoel and the Fantasy Bra...

*sigh* I don't think it's news to anyone the fact that I don't see anything special about her, so, you must have some sort of idea what it was like when I heard she had been "the chosen one", right? I think VS has in its cast girls that would have been far more deserving than she is, girls who have worked with them for far longer and never got the chance, so, yeah, I'm disappointed.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr no longer a couple.

I thought the two of them were a cute couple, I really did, but, I suppose their marriage had been on the rocks for quite a while... With Miranda getting out of the VS and the fact that she's no longer married to him, I think I'm gonna start liking her even less. But, the two of them do get points with me for being incredibly civil and what-the-not towards one another. I like when those couples show it's possible to break up amicably and remain friends.
