Dream House (2011)
For a moment I was intrigued, then a shocking discovery regarding
the main character, later a long long time nothing until the conclusion,
which was probably the weakest point of this film. I think that
the story was poor, cast great, so all in all I rate whole quite average.
For sure this movie will remain in my mind for a few days,
when I again was afraid to go down to the basement... Damn!
Villiana's rating:
Red Lights (2012)
This is a total coincidence! At the beginning I was thrilled,
the whole really kept in suspense, Sigourney Weaver was great,
then the whole bit slowed down, but I'm still waiting what will happen.
Twist at the end was complete failure for me. I really preferred
to believe that all this is complete nonsense. End could be good,
and it was weak.
Villiana's rating:
was quite courageous and certainly controversial, but this one here
is complete madness!!! Vision of the world certainly frightening,
but unfortunately the movie turned out to be an average thriller.
In addition to the overall theme the whole thing didn't surprise me too much,
you could predict every move, even the ending. Still, I will watch
the next part, maybe there will be more swift action.
Villiana's rating:
Monsters, Inc. (2001)
I love this story and love it more and more. I think that as I watch it
again with my children, I rate it for nine stars.
Villiana's rating:
Tangled (2010)
I still love this one. And I cried again on the lanterns scene. Damn!
Villiana's rating:
Ender's Game (2013)
ruined the book, but I think it was just good. Everything was presented very
briefly, quite differently imagined trainings, but it's good that
the director put mainly on emotions and not on a great visual spectacle.
Villiana's rating:
and when Will began to rise and spread, I thought: "wtf is this?".
Generally I'm disappointed. A collection of movie stars and the film was
just average. Not enthused neither content nor in acting.
Villiana's rating:
The Physician (2013)
common with the history presented in book, but somehow I don't care,
because the film was really great. Firstly, a very interesting story,
second - great role of Tom Payne, I haven't seen yet this actor
on the screen, but now I will definitely follow. And thirdly great scenery.
Practically everything I liked in this movie, two and a half hours passed
very quickly.
Villiana's rating:
About Time (2013)
From time to time, films like this are needed to stop all the time
to worry about everything, and see the good side of life.
Duet McAdams/Gleeson was great, Bill Nighy wonderful, and the character
of Harry hilarious. I was playing well.
Villiana's rating:
Heat (1995)
very good. Robert De Niro was brilliant. Would be a star higher
if the action took place a little faster, if there was more tension,
and if at the end Al Pacino even for a moment doubted which way
to chase the fugitive, but apparently too well read the script :P
Villiana's rating:
Neighbors (2014)
that I'm a mother, I have a sentiment to different films showing highs
and lows of motherhood. And this one was pretty funny.
There are days that I myself would gladly come back to college...
yeah, it was a crazy time.
Villiana's rating:
The Butler (2013)
overview of the history, but everything was correct and I didn't feel
strong emotions, perhaps only at the time of the dinner, when
the father and son parted in anger. The whole thing was simply just good.
Villiana's rating:
coincidence! I really wanted to see this film and unfortunately
I'm a little disappointed. The whole story was pretty average,
but the scenes in the air... I'm thrilled, so all in all,
I would rate this movie at seven.
Villiana's rating:
42 (2013)
(42 - The True Story Of An American Legend)
of hate whites for another race at that time, I expect some big cruelties
against Jackie Robinson, and beyond talking, nothing happened especially
exciting. Completely any bigger emotions. I'm not saying that
they should rape his wife and burn his house (:D), but he could get neatly
in the face at least once, and not the ball!
Villiana's rating:
Beautiful Creatures (2013)
but at least something attracted me there and here? Absolutely nothing!
It was boring and banal story. I watched the movie in the middle of the day
and I thought that I fall asleep. It was definitely a waste of time
and still the best film about people with supernatural powers
and stuff like that remains for me Harry Potter :D
Villiana's rating:
but I didn't see in it anything special for me. Music, part which takes
place in the 20's, when friends were young was great,
later this movie became more and more boring, and generally
absolutely nothing special happened.
