Spy Game (2001)
(Occupation: Spy)
in the end, Tony Scott, Brad Pitt... That should be interesting.
And I wasn't wrong. The film shows that being an agent is not so great,
is full of dilemmas, self-denial, it is not every night another woman
and a martini with vodka. Movie really interesting, the action is swift,
great acting, music - I'm not sure - but it didn't bother me.
I think that really was worth it to see this movie.
Villiana's rating:
the inspiration for The Hunger Games, and certainly something in it.
Unfortunately, the whole Hunger Games were well developed
and outside slaughter in the arena talked about something more.
Here, the whole film is one big arena, the outside world is presented
quite poorly, I didn't feel a greater relationship with any of the characters
and I was indifferent which of them will die. Generally speaking,
the whole thing wasn't so bad. I haven't read the book, maybe there
would be that which has been unsaid in the movie.
Villiana's rating:
300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
(300: Rise of an Empire)
and interesting and I was thrilled. Here I don't know what to say.
All drowned in the sea splashing blood, too much slow motion,
Eva Green was awful, tasteless sex scene, and in addition the whole story
left a lot to be desired. I rate at six stars, the scenery was still
stunning and the film had a specific atmosphere, despite exaggeration.
Villiana's rating:
What Maisie Knew (2013)
Julianne Moor is so amazing... And this little girl, lovely.
I think that this movie well demonstrates how misunderstandings
parents and their lack of commitment affect on small child.
Villiana's rating:
The Basketball Diaries (1995)
I haven't seen too many movies from the beginning of their careers,
so it was definitely worth seeing this movie, which at the margin
was very good.
Villiana's rating:
The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
(The Wolf of Wall Street)
was to expose. Not really close to me is the theme of rich people
addicted to drugs and money, but it seems to me that it was interesting
showing this world and definitely good acting.
Villiana's rating:
Delivery Man (2013)
(I don't know if it's correctly ?)
even interesting. I haven't seen earlier screening, but this one was even ok.
Plus this movie - quite poignant scenes siblings together, which was
really touching. Minus - Vince Vaughn (he is so terribly annoying!!)
and too long beautiful (=boring) speeches, I don't like anything like that
in movies.
Villiana's rating:
Evil Dead (2013)
or just this movie sucked (!), but I had a feeling that this is definitely
not for me. I haven't seen the original, maybe I've lost a lot...
I don't know. But an excessive amount of blood, shooting nails
and trenching head using chainsaw doesn't convince me at all.
Maybe I'm just getting old.
Villiana's rating:
to Daniel Radcliffe, he really fit in here, and I think he was pretty good.
The story was average, but the atmosphere was very mystical, so overall,
I think this movie was good.
Villiana's rating:
Epic (2013)
(The Mystery of the Green Kingdom)
and beautiful Mary Katherine, great Nod, and really amazing Ronin,
all of these characters made the story was really cool.
Villiana's rating:
Changing a plus - Daniel Craig, the change in the minus - Rooney Mara.
Unfortunately I don't like her in this role. I have still Noomi Rapace
in the memory, she was amazing. While Rooney looked like a little girl.
Villiana's rating:
The Book Thief (2013)
I really liked her. Very bothered me the way of narration,
which is why I rate just as good.
Villiana's rating:
Last Vegas (2013)
that my expectations were really high. And what I got? A portion
of the rather bad humor, terribly slow action, and generally
it was quite boring. Really beautiful friendship, but I was hoping
for something more.
Villiana's rating:
Trading Places (1983)
(Unexpected change of places)
It was a really big oversight considering that the movie was really great.
Really amazing joke, and... what can I say... Jamie Lee Curtis without a bra?
Come on! That in itself deserves to eight stars :D I was playing well.
Villiana's rating:
(Once Upon a Time in the Wild West)
but I felt that this movie had to be an inspiration to many Tarantino movies.
There is nothing better like a good revenge after years.
The whole movie was pretty entertaining. I don't really like
Charles Bronson's face, but I have to admit that in this role I liked.
Villiana's rating:
The Crimson Pirate (1952)
and I must say it wasn't so bad. Even I had fun :) And Burt Lancaster
looked so fucking awesome in these tight pants :D
Villiana's rating:
Little Women (1949)
this version, which was rated highest in Polish movie website
(sorry Christian Bale :(). I think it was interesting. June Allyson as Jo
was simply brilliant. The whole story interesting and certainly wasn't boring
(and I thought it would be).
