"As bad as this film was, yes the story was idiotic, yes the characters were 1D airbrushed models with no personality and yes it may just be the poorest YA garbage film made yet but none of this is the biggest sin that The 5th Wave commits for me. Worst of all is that it is just do dull. The first 15 minutes or so was alright as the opening "waves" struck in a disaster porn kind of way but then it became a grinding chore as the "plot" really began.
