2016 Films I've Seen, Ranked

At the end of 2016, I listed my favourite and least favourite movies of the year. Since then, I've watched many more movies from that year, mainly the highly recommended ones that I didn't get around to in the year itself, so here's an updated list of all the films I've seen from 2016. They're grouped by my rating from one to ten, sorted alphabetically within those groups, and by the British titles at that, because that's where I live. That's why certain titles might look out of order to you. For example, The Brothers Grimsby is just called Grimsby in the British Isles – and God do I feel dirty for using that as an example!

While we're on the subject, here are my revised top ten lists, so you can see how they compare to the ones from the end of the year itself…

Top 10 Worst:

#9 = Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
#8 = The Boy
#7 = Hardcore Henry
#6 = Dirty Grandpa
#5 = 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi
#4 = The Finest Hours
#3 = Nine Lives
#2 = Cell
And #1 = The 5th Wave

Top 10 Best:
#10 = Deadpool
#9 = Arrival
#8 = The Nice Guys
#7 = Captain America: Civil War
#6 = Finding Dory
#5 = The Edge of Seventeen
#4 = Hunt for the Wilderpeople
#3 = Kubo and the Two Strings
#2 = Eye in the Sky
And #1 = Zootropolis (AKA Zootopia)
